My problem is that everything is registred (on Bioware), but it will not be authorized. I don't know what to do...

I've tried to change back to the original addin file, but then I'm not able to load the game because the saved game include all the content packs. Frustrating, but luckely I had a backup file (only 30 min earlier).

guys i have the solution and it works 10000000% promise so this is what you have to do<br />
<br />
Locate AddIns.xml in "C:/Users/(Username)/Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings" and edit it using WordPad or any XML editor. Replace all RequiresAuthorization="1" with RequiresAuthorization="0".<br />
<br />
Run the game and check to see if everything worked!<br />
<br />
<br />
if it worked say it here so that the others can see that it worked

Worked. Thanks a bunch! Was having this problem after re-installing the game through the ea downloader after a long time of not having played.

Thank goodness for this thread. I was losing my freaking mind trying to figure out why the DLC I paid for was no longer authorized and was ready to go on a bloody darkspawn-ish raid through the city. Quick fix FTW!

Doesn't work for me. It no longer shows "unauthorized" and I'm able to load old saves, but talking to Dryden doesn't put the Warden's Keep on the map. Similarly, after getting the control rod, the village doesn't show on the map.

Nothing in this thread's working for me, either. The 1's to 0's makes several of my items disappear and removes some of the DLC regions from the map and kicks me out of Ostagar. The other suggestions do absolutely nothing.

Same for me.  Able to load the save game (when no other troubleshooting allowed me to get that far) but I was stripped of my DLC in-game.

A word of advice... remember that you don't HAVE to be logged in to play the game... at least that's true for the non-Steam versions.

Logging-in allow your profile to be updated online (NOT your saved games, these are NOT backed up online, unlike some of the comments I've seen over the last few days). But once the DLC is activated, you can turn off the auto-login function and play to your heart's content.....

1. The "requiresauthorization=1" solution leaves my Alistair naked, because his armor was from DLC.

2. Logging in or out doesn't matter at this point. If you were automatically logging in, the game has now screwed you by literally changing files on your computer. Logging out won't change that until the problem gets fixed. Although it is good advice in general- given the incompetent server management, you can probably better protect yourself by logging in as rarely as possible.

What Cadfan said. Logging out doesn't solve anything for me, sadly.

Well, in that case I have to wait patiently for the server to come back on or start a new char while it's offine.
Isn't that much choice.

Yes staying logged out seems to be best.
If you have an old game or are running a dlc campaign after the main one, not so much.

Until it's sorted at source, I'd just play a new game logged out.
It's only with saves already that I seem to have the annoying factor with.
So after the latest character I'll stay logged out for the rest.

So are we supposed to just wait for Bioware to fix their servers or something? My DLC has suddenly become unauthorized as well.

Ok this is a first for me. Not only is my DLC unauthorized the remaining 600 so bioware points is gone. Everything was working and in place as of last night. The only thing that changed on my end was I updated to IE9. But I am not sure how that would affect my gaming for DA. It hasn't affected any other games I use.

If you look on the appropriate page, those 600 or so points are still there.  It's a Server Issue for the Content.  The points are stored Elsewhere (I have 60 points, but the game does show no points available).

Now that you mention it the points are on the webpage. Just not in game anymore. Hopefully they get the server fixed so we can go about our merry way of salying the archdemon.....

It kind of sucks that an error of this magnitude is allowed to go unchecked for so long. Is there a sense of arrogance here? "We've had your money so just wait until we're ready to sort things out....."
mmmmm, there goes my weekend of catching up with my old character (needed after completing the ever so shallow DA2)

Hanibal got the ticket. Worked for me when all else failed. Just make sure you change ALL of them. So just keep mashing "find next" until all your bases are covered.

It's not an IE9 issue, I updated to IE9 a couple of weeks ago and it was working fine up until today. Played DA:Origins last night, then today *POOF* no DLC, the whole lot is unauthorised. None of the fixes work for me, so I'm totaly screwed and I supose I just need to wait and see if EA get there a into g and fix there server. Judging by the number of posts in the last ten hours it seems like the problem is on their crappy servers. To be honest a 10 hour down time on a world wide operation is pathetic, way to provide a high availability solution guys, go back to IT school.

Also I'm impresed by their inability to even annouce that there is a problem.
