To anyone coming to this thread looking for a solution, as it stands right now there is none that will get you a working game.

There are ways to unlock your saves and contine play, but all DLC will be disabled and the game will be very buggy and likely crash frequently, getting to a point where you will not be able to continue past a certain point anyway.

The only viable options right now are to wait until the problem is fixed on Bioware's end or start a new game without any DLC enabled.

Zexion speaks the truth, I've done the DAP file fix, the addins.xml fix, the service fix, the giving it time to connect then loading, loading directly instead of realoading... etc...

The only thing close to working I've seen is changing the XML file and that still leaves Leiliana buck naked since she was wearing the battledress of the provacteur.  In conclusion screw you EA/Bioware, you've ruined my weekend.

EA/Bioware: You've screwed up. Bad. The proper way to make restitution for this is to realize that if you can't maintain infrastructure, you have no right to charge for it, so...

Once you clear this mess up, make ALL the DA:O DLC free, DRM free, and not requiring any sort of login, for all people, for all time. If you can't keep it together, you shouldn't be expect to profit from it.

All this frustration on our part due to DRM crap and they still can't stop pirated software. Its ironic that the problems created by the DRM is probably turning people away from buying legitimate copies.

Just another person here having the same issue. I've had Doa from the start and bought each DLC as they came out. Was thinking about picking up DA 2 and wanted to give origins one more play through before I did. Lo and behold all the DLC I bought all that time ago is now showing as unauthorized, and also showing up on the tab to buy it... as if somehow as if somehow the bioware servers think that suddenly my account (that I have been using for the game since I purchased it) isent authorized for all that dlc that I paid for each and every time something new came out.

Having played the game several times through and loved it each time I have to say I'm very disappointed with biowae here. In my opinion they make the best single player RPG's out there and I own almost everyone they have put out. But here I come to visit Feraldin one more time before shelling out for dragonage 2 and wow I can't play with all the dlc I paid good money for.... because of a server problem.... for my single player game?? This is crazy.

I really hope they solve this soon, because before this I would have said I was one of biowares biggest supporters, but if they can't solve this in a timely manner I may have to reconsider buying other bioware games, (dragonage 2, masseffect 3, and the old repiblic for instance) all of which I've been waiting for. So bioware please do all in your power to resolve this soon, there are alot of fans of your RPG's out there, but it dosent look too good if you can't keep a single player game working correctly. If someone buys your game and spends more for your dlc, they expect to be able to play it anytime they like, and not have a server malfunction ruin the weekend playing time.
(btw tried all the fixes except uninstalling the game/content nothing seems to help. I'm convinced that this has to be a server malfunction that for some reason it is not recognizing and linking our accounts with the dlc we have bought. funny how it knew I had all the dlc for that account a month ago when I reinstalled the game but now when I want to play the game the servers are all... nope you gotta buy that content we let you install and play with so many times before...)

Pretty much the only thing you can do is either wait, or contact EA. I recomend we all contact there support centre and basicaly generate enough noise that they have to do something. Think of it as flooding their support people with calls. Plus if you are polite and ask for a refund or an upgrade you get a 20% discount voucher (not sure if I want to buy anymore EA games after this though)
Go here and log in an wait in line for a support session, tell them you have already tried all the recomended crap and it doesnt work otherwise you will get told to do all the rubish that doesnt work.

The more people we get to contact them the better, try not to be to rude or abusive guys, it's not the support people's fault (just their managers for making crap decisions).

Have to agree, I don't understand what is causing this. We have had near perfect working servers for the last year, so why do they meddle with it now?

This is just promoting piracy for god sake. DRM doesn't work, piracy is still rampant so the only people that are the joke, are us, your genuine supporters. You cannot legitimatley support this product by charging us fees when you can't maintain said service. This has seriously raised concerns from many of my friends if you guys will be able to launch The Old Republic if you can't even get this right.

Same problem here. Got DAII and decided to make a full run thru all DAO +AW+DLC I have... I am almost finishing Awakening and all my dlc are unauthorized... I spend about 2hours now trying to solve this with no luck.
In my case, I see all dlc aviable AGAIN to purchase, most weird thing (yes, my copy, my expansion is original and all my dlc are purchased, check my profile).
If anyone has any idea how to fix this, I'll appreciate it.

I tried somethings here that worked for other people and I am posting it bellow... perhaps it can help you:

- Run services.msc
- Find Dragon Age Content Updater Service
- See if its runing, if its not, Start Service (some changed it to automatically)
- Run Game

As far as I know that only worked for old dlc updating problems on the user's side, this current issue is completely on the EA/Bioware side so it won't work untill THEY fix it.

Still, your post shows how much the community is trying to help eachother while Bioware are keeping deafly silent.

OK i got the dlc to be authorized BUT i dont have any of the stuff i finished with, no shale, no keep i have nothing how do i fix that ?

My DLCs are still not authorized Just wanted to activate points for Return to Ostagar, but seems like with these problems I will not be able to do that.

I fixed it!

Here's the process but you'll need to have a copy of your profile.dap (if you deleted it and try to rebuild this won't work)

1.) Start your game
2.) Log out of your account
3.) Shut down your game
4.) (If you backed up your old Profile.dap restore it)
5.) Restart the Dragon Age... service
6.) Run Dragon Age: Origin again
7.) Rock out with your... sword out
