 I have not played SP since the first week of launch because of the terrible ending and playing a come were ur choices dont matter when that used to be a major part just seems pointless. I have only played MP since then and am starting to get bored of it. Why did Bioware have to mess up the ending so bad. Whyd the promise closure and 16 different endings when theres only like 1 ending but three diferent colors.

I've done two playthroughs: my first playthrough and my insanity playthrough.

Finished my insanity playthrough over a month ago, haven't touched SP since. Shame, cause I've got a truckload of characters I wanted to import but are on hold 'till the EC.

Yup.  No touching SP til EC comes out.

EC is in fact the only reason I haven't uninstalled the game.

Quite a few folks are putting their next playthrough's on hold until the Cut rolls around. Some of them literally haven't touched the game since March, from what I've seen.

I still play SP. Well, haven't played in a month but it's only because I'm busy and can't play. I doubt I'll have the time to finish my NG+ before EC comes out, so it only adds more closure to my current game, but it wouldn't change a thing. The overall game is great, and whether or not the EC was planned, I'd still play —even if only to live moments such as Tuchanka, Rannoch... and pretty much every emotional part of the game.

Just finish ME3 in Insanity. I had been playing sp so much that I'll probably gonna take little brake on it and come back when EC DLC comes... probably...

The notion that EC will change things so significantly that the ending will be salvaged and worth additional playthroughs is a pipe dream.The EC will be a token fix so that Bioware can claim to have listened to its fans, but there is no way that a simple expanded epilogue will fix the fundamental problems. If you're holding back your next playthrough with the expectation that the EC will make a difference, then prepare to be disappointed.

no, i'm just about half way through my third playthrough. This time with an imported femshep, still thoroughly enjoying it although the evesdropping-fetch quests are as miserable as sin. I'm confident that the EC will fulfill my expectations (all i want to see are my war assets fighting against the reapers and what happens to my squadmates, i'm not too bothered about the starchild really) however i think that the EC will not satisfy most people, as what most people seem to want is a completely new ending and Bioware somewhat oddly are not intending to deliver this.

I went back and just today finished ME1. Onto ME2 for me now. Playing it slowly, fow a few weeks and then ME3 the same way, I hope to just about finish the trilogy before the EC.

I did 5 playthroughs, but I am waiting until the EC to continue. Treating it like a second release. I also want to have fresh characters available when it releases.

I'm doing my second playthrough right now. But I couldn't bring myself to do it right away.

I plan to play through the confrontation with TIM, then stop. I've decided that the endings don't happen, and established a head canon ending in their place.

Sometimes the "real" endings discourage me from playing, but I do think that the gameplay is awesome and that the story of all three games, up until the endings, is good. Ignoring the endings and putting my own in their place lets me enjoy everything that does work about Mass Effect. Especially since I doubt the EC will really address my own issues.

I have. Well, I did turn the game on during the On/Off campaign last month, but all I did was leave the cursor on the customization screen instead of a sincere effort to replay the game.

I do Multiplayer as it is entertaining. But I haven't done single player at all since the ending. I did decide to start a new FemShep from complete scratch in ME1 and run with that... currently I'm about to start ME2. Figure doing that infrequently will get me to the point where I'll be in ME3 by the time the extended cut is released.
