yeah, still waiting for EC here... tried re-playing once for the HTL campaign, and remembering the ending just demotivates me to play again... haven't touched it since.

Finished the game once and now waiting for EC to see what they add in it. Also MP is boring...

I'm hovering over Rannoch, waiting until the EC comes out to see if it's worth continuing forward.

finished the game twice. started a third one but.... I loose my motivation as I'm still a lot disapointed by the end... I don't want to play a game without the satifaction of a "good" (clear and logical) closure.

Nope, still playing, just finished my second run through the game and have 3 more queued at various points in the game, as well as finishing up some ME 2 sessions I have been playing since ME 1, as well as a couple of ME sessions to complete and move on to ME 2.

Yep, I am.

Besides I don't really see the point. I've played through it three times. Everything is auto-dialogue, and when I get to choose from two branches it's usually top - good outcome, bottom - suckish outcome.

Meh. I'm hoping the EC will be breathtaking.

I'm resisting the urge to start another playthrough at least until June. I've done two playthroughs and want to start another but I'm waiting for the EC.

Finished it once in the first week or so it came out, played one playthrough up to "the point of no return" with my second. Got another few characters to play through, and im debating wether to just leave them at that point till the EC comes out.

Yeah, after one playthru I was disappointed by the ending so haven't played another SP yet. I did a infiltrator fem shep playthru of ME1 and ME2, may even do a renegade one too. I'm hopeful for the EC I figure anything (at this point) is better than what we got for an ending.

Not really. I still play SP, but after several playthroughs, I've been slowly losing my desire to play SP. :| I still play it, just not so much these days. EC might change that though. Who knows, I'll just have to wait and see.

I have not played SP since the first week of launch because of the terrible ending and playing a come were ur choices dont matter when that used to be a major part just seems pointless. I have only played MP since then and am starting to get bored of it. Why did Bioware have to mess up the ending so bad. Whyd the promise closure and 16 different endings when theres only like 1 ending but three diferent colors.

Yeah pretty much. Although i have used SP to test weapons i have not yet unlocked in MP

I had 2 playthrough and it was just so depressing. In a bad way.

I don't feel like it has good replay values. Sorry.

I still however enjoy replaying Mass Effect 1 and 2.

It's not so much about giving up. I played through once and enjoyed the game. It's more about not spoiling the new ending AND looking forward to some content DLC. I'm happy to wait, especially as I'm replaying ME and will dust off ME2 afterwards.

I'm playing a NG+ Insanity run with one of my import careers at a very leisurely pace. If the EC release is nearing by the time I get close to the end, I might pause and wait, but I have a lot of other careers I want to import anyway, and there will be future SP DLC too, so plenty to do down the pipeline. I was a little miffed after my first playthrough though, and have been kind of intermixing my play time with some new ME1 careers to play through to ME3 eventually. So, it hasn't made me stop completely, but I've kind of slowed down. I keep a half way point save or two in all my careers anyway, so I can always go back and fill in DLC etc.

I gave up on the game period. The EC is just a bunch of cut scenes is my guess, they aren't changing the stupid god child and space magic. So....I'm pretty much done with ME for good, I deleted all my save games, it was fun while it lasted. Anyone thinking the EC is going to magically fix a very broken ending story wise is a little too optimistic.

I have not completed a ME 3 run since my first, but I started a new playthrough a few days ago, but I won't complete it before the EC comes out

Believe it or not, but after weeks of not touching it, I just spent the last 2 hours replaying the end game (making it my second completed playthrough) and I FINALLY managed to get the breathing scene. I had to restart before the Cerberus assault, though, as a previous attempt at simply replaying Priority Earth to get the breathing resulted in total failure. Was the last time I had popped the disc in the console and after this experience (I had forced myself to play this **** multiplayer for three hours using the 2-day gold coupon), I was so furious I had basically tossed the game where I could no longer see it.

Anyway, I just finished and got the Shepard Alive ending but guess what... the awful and nonsensical ending is still awful and nonsensical. I don't think I am picking it up ever again, unless the Extended Cut brings significant changes - which I'm sure it won't.

Quite a few folks are putting their next playthrough's on hold until the Cut rolls around. Some of them literally haven't touched the game since March, from what I've seen.

I'm one of those. I finished the game once and after the ending I never touced it again

Same here basically. One playthrough with my manually reconstructed canon Shep (some time after release). Started the game again to see wether face import was fixed by importing my 'second' Shep, no point in playing him though due to the auto-dialogue likely completely ruining the character. I might try the EC when it's released, but til then I have no reason at all to play ME3.

I'm also slowly but steady starting to lose interest in visiting the forums, as Bioware made very clear by now that even if they might be reacting to issues presented to them they are completely unwilling to properly communicate it. Also the fact that I can't register my game and therefore can't use any forum other than general discussion in combination with the direct threat of perma-banning me in case of posting spoilers is preventing me from participating in any kind of meaningful discussion of the game.

Ah well, at least I can still advise my real life friends to stay the hell away from ME3, at least for the next couple of months. Image IPB

I did two playthroughs, one on normal and one on Insanity and haven't looked back. If the EC fixes my problems with the climax/ending then I'll revisit and likely play a full playthrough again.

I'm a victim of advanced warnings. People were already talking about the issues within two or three days of me starting. And so the wind went right out of my sails from there. I realized that I would have to have made every choice since I started the series in ME1 correctly and collected every single bonus available to have even gotten close to the proper EMS and I know I didn't do that so my Shepard is guaranteed dead.

I don't want to go back to ME1 and attempt to play someone else's way all the way through. If I wanted to use an apple pattern to "finish the board" in a linear game I'd buy a Pac Man machine off e-bay.

I pretty much stalled out somewhere running back and forth between star systems attempting to pick up quest items and such and dealing with Reapers chasing me back to the relays and running out of gas. Lame. The last thing I think I did was helping out Miranda, and getting the final assault on whatsisface's base, which I cannnot go on because when I do it's game over with my EMS. I haven't even seen half of my old crew and don't even know if they actually appear, but I feel any excitement trying to start the game anymore, and the new content isn't going to do much to change that.

I hate multiplayer games and will not play this one any more than I played any other. I would not have bought the game had I known when I ordered what I know now, or had they been forthcoming about it.

I just feel a sense of loss because I really enjoyed the series and there will no longer be a Mass Effect to look forward to. Not only did I love the series, I loved Shepard. And it is not the same without her.
