I tried my Insanity run a few weeks after the ending. I only got through Mars before I gave up.

I don't even trust that the EC is even going to change anything significant about the core issues with the ending, but I'm begging for a reason to enjoy the game again.

Working on a fourth playthrough on insanity. Probably won't touch it again after that though.

And I'm another one.

I've been playing the multi-player as that is fun with friends but after finishing the single player in March I just haven't felt the desire to go back through.

The ending is certainly part of that, as not only does it drain the enthusiasm from me to want to play through but it also highlights all the other annoying parts of the game.

I really don't want to play through when I'm forced into Bioware's bespoke Shepard and eaves-dropping side quests that were dull the first time around just get a hundred times worse on a replay.

I have played it about 6 times through so I have no problem replaying it. I have held my canon off for the EC though. At first I held him off because of the import problem but now I will wait for the EC to run him through. Doesn't mean I won't run other Shepards through though.

Yes. Linear game is linear anyway. No point to replay.

Well Bioware seems to give up on SP till EC, so do I then.
All they release MP DLCs/patches nowadays.

Eh, sad but true. After running my main Shepard through 3 times, I tried running one of my other Shepards through. Gave up due to a disappointing realization that there are virtually no new LI's for a straight Femshep. I don't even want to go back until I'm positive that they're not adding any new LI's in future DLC.

As for the rest, I'm waiting for the EC to come out. Not with that ending. Just not with that ending.

Not only that, but I may also wait to see what pre-ending DLC comes out.

I rarely replay games anyway (strange creature who waste my money on just experiencing the story, once) and don't want to repeatedly go all over again, just for one new little morsel each time -- especially when there are months between them, during which you lose immersion, which has to be reestablished.

I did an NG+ and my renegade PT recently, this past week. I moved a week and a half ago, and that was the first time I touched my CE since I finished my NG+ in March. There was a noticeable layer of dust on it. I kid you not.

We'll see what EC offers. Until then, I might play my renegade through again to be more renegon (because being renegade Shepard in ME3 is awful), but that's it. I have three other Shepards I could play, but there really isn't a point to it.

Played through once, even though a bunch of stuff from ME2 didn't make the transfer for some reason. Decided to replay ME2 in order to get everything I wanted transferred over to ME3. Started my "second" play through of ME3 and finished Priority: Mars, then I got bored and moved on to other games (Skyrim, Batman AC, Binary Domain, Rage). Not like my optimal ME2 save transfer will change anything. Haven't touched ME3 SP in about a month and a half, MP I haven't played in like a month.

I'll finish up my insanity run, but after that I might justly go back and play a mission or 2 occasionally until the EC. Then I'll do a clean run through and see if the game feels right this time.

Yes, I've given up on ME3 completely until the EC comes out. My last save seems to be from April 10, so I guess I haven't played the game since then. Just waiting for the EC.
No interest whatsover in the MP, MP expansions, merchandise or other DLCs.

I have to point out that people who state they don;t care about it anymore, cared enough to come post here. If it were so true I don't think most would bother..... However read how that ending ruined it so much for people, people at BioWare really need to pay attention. That is pretty tragic. You make something working so well and then you install the faulty part that makes the whole engine run badly. What good is a race car that loses all it horsepower because of some damn faulty gas pedal. Why they didn;t see this coming is almost impossible to imagine.....

Still, I will wait and give them a chance to work it out. Whatever other boards are saying about this all, doesn't matter. I use to like fighting games and I got so tired of the Tekken people bashing Dead or Alive on the most simplistic terms when Tekken had its own. I like both games BTW. I;m sure people over at a Halo board would say something about this even if it were perfect. You just got to weight part of that as fan-boy crap

I've heard a number of players saying that they will just watch the EC on youtube when it comes out. But I think that is being extremely pessimistic. Your basically saying the EC has no chance of being any good without an entirely new ending. I do not agree with this, it is clear from the amount of time Bioware is spending on developing the EC that it is more than just a few extra cutscenes. I think it will be worth the long wait.

Look at it this way, if the EC is really well made and surprises everyone then you will spoil it for yourself by watching it on youtube first instead of actually playing it. It's free anyway, I would just download it and see for yourself.

What Dave said, massive point there. But since Hanko's a bit pessimistic, he's still gonna watch on YT, because "it's going to be bad and make you feel bad"

Back on topic, I'm not playing ME3 'till the EC. Yes, I really want the EC, but to get there, I need to pass through ME1 and ME2, remember?

I struggled through an immediate 2nd playthrough after my 1st. According to my PC, my last save for that run was made on March 18th. Haven't touched the SP since then. The only reason I still have it installed is the EC. I play multi sometimes while I listen to podcasts, but I wouldn't have kept it installed just for their bland, bug-ridden, horde mode.

2 playthroughs done in the first 8 days of release and then not since then. Not holding out much hope for the EC but have not uninstalled ME3 yet. Still do the MP to keep up the galaxy readiness but even that is beginning to pale.

I haven't touched ME3 since having seen the ending, but I am playing through Mass Effect 1 and 2 in preparation for the EC DLC. Giving my hopes up once again.

No, waiting for EC isn't keeping me from SP personally, though I can exactly see why it would. I've got another couple of characters I'd like to import. But I'm sure as hell making sure I've got saved games available towards the endgame.
