After the announcement of DA3 in production, I was wondering what should be Bioware's next BIG thing?
Personally I would like a Marvel or DC licenced rpg (I know this is a big topic elseware on the forums), but after playing X-Men Destiny I could really see what Bioware could have done with it. That game had SUCH potential but got messed up....(I actually sent an email to Marvel Comics & Bioware asking for them to at least consider the idea).
Another idea would be to go the way of Supernatural/Grimm, with the protagonist starting off green as they come and slowly learning how to fight and beat vampire's/ werewolves and the such.
OR they could really rub it in SquareSoft and finally make a game as HUGE as Final Fantasy 7/8.
Just my ideas, but hey I posted them here so I could hear from everyone else.....
So ideas?????
What should be Bioware's next project AFTER DA3

My personal preference would be a game taking place in a more modern day setting, something not involving aliens or elves. But I mean, your guess is as good as mine to what may actually happen. I'm leaving that up to BioWare. So ideas?????
I'm pretty sure they already did that with Baldur's Gate 2. Both SoA and ToB combined likely take longer to beat in its entirety than FF7 or 8.OR they could really rub it in SquareSoft and finally make a game as HUGE as Final Fantasy 7/8.

I totally agree with KOTOR3, never played Jade Empire though.
While going through my old games I came across Alpha Protocol and thought hmmmm, another game that should've been made by Bioware....

Jade Empire 2. Give me a reason to pull the trigger and buy Jade Empire 1.

Mass Effect:TNG and DA:TNG spring to mind. But for a new project, I prefer Fantasy to Sci-Fi, so I would like to see more CRPG's in the first genre.

New. Something really new. Not old forgotten franchise or license but something really new. New universe, new characters and new story. New Lore. DAO and ME1 was BioWare's most coolest games they have ever made. I'm really sick with sequels and prequels. At latest VGA i tought that my dream will become a reality but it was just Generals 2. So i'm still hope they create something really new in near future.

I honestly want to see them make more Mass Effect games, Its such a big universe on a huge historical time scale. It would give them a lot to work with.
I would also like to see them bring back Jade Empire, another really good IP Bioware established. Maybe with a longer more detailed storyline and more customization options, it could really be a force to be reckoned with ^^

Well, how else can they reiterate the same thing?
ME's scifi..
DA's fantasy..
So what else is there?
Modern?
Post-apocalyptic?

Either a new JE entry or a totally new IP.

Jade Empire 2 or something like Alpha Protocol.

I kinda like the OP's idea. There hasn't been a good superhero RPG since Freedom Force-- assuming you class that as an RPG in the first place.
KotOR 3 would be good too, but there's no real chance of that while TOR exists.

It's a good game. Do you need a better reason than that?
I also wish they would make a sequel, but I very much doubt it.

Dragon Age 4.
Why a new IP? Dragon Age has great history and lore and the world is huge where much hasn't even been explored and yet people would want a new IP with new history and lore when we haven't even explored much of Dragon Age?
Don't get me started about ME's massive lore and background. Bioware have already stated that there will be more games in ME's universe.
Meanwhile Dragon Age is and never was a triology so we can expect to see more DA games after DA3. I'd just prefer to see DA4 after DA3 rather than another Mass Effect game or a game set in a new setting.

JE2 or some urban fantasy RPG would be neat.

My guess is something FPS. With the "success" of Fallout: 3 and the fact that they are trying to grab the CoD fans, they should just abandon isometric combat and move on to the FPS gameplay. Unless they make Dragon Age: Origins 2, I really couldn't care what is next in store.

No one wants them to do a Neverwinter game? I guess Obsidian would be better suited. and the MMo would have to fail. It could happen.

Something involving urban elves. Bring Thedas up to a 20th Century equivalent and let the dwarves, elves and Qunari run amok.
Starting point: 'Qunari soap operas'.

Bah with the way things are going at both Bioware and the indistry it will prob be some like Left 4 Dead game based in the Mass Effect universe.

Well, DA4 seems likely, they will probably make ME4 as well. I don't think they have resources now to create a new IP and sustain both of those games along with TOR.
