Careful the ending will destroy the lore of the previous games

How about a historical drama rpg, in which a brooding youth bumps into a time traveling Frederick Douglass. Shocked that a teenager from the 22nd century recognizes him, Douglass reveals himself as an agent of the Time Marshals  time traveling lawmen of the past, present, and future. Douglass recruits the protagonist to aid him in his search for the missing U.S. presidents through time & space. Due to Douglass's unforseen demise (lulz Duncan, Nihlus) the brooding youth has to assemble a rag tag team of historical figures to combat the malevolent force behind the disappearances.

I think the Dragon Age team should collaborate with Rockstar and create "Grand Theft Dragon"

No medieval, Tolkien-esque fantasy. After DA3, I'm done with that.
A D&D setting like Planescape, Ravenloft or Dark Sun I'd love.

Mass Effect MMO. Given their experience with SWTOR, they may learn from their mistakes and come up with something that is consumable.

I'd love a good Marvel comics RPG. Think of the fun the writers could have with Deadpool!

I'd love it if they made more D&D games, even with the lackluster 4th edition rules. I enjoy the setting more than Dragon Age.

I'll let the older bioware fans say their say in this.

I only got into it with mass effect, and the only other bioware series I've played was dragonage.

They should take a break, reassess their direction, and ponder whether they want to make good games or mediocre airport novels.

You probably know how unrealistic that is.

It was just a suggestion I'm sure they'll continue catering to the big-guns-big-pecs-big-****** crowd. But with so many games already doing that, you'd think someone would have the sudacity to try something different, something worth talking about. Since they wont ever do anything like that, I could only hope they would care about the quality of their writing.

Just pointing out that you don't just shut down a business and reassess your direction. Life in the private sector is busy. Lots of ambition and talent out there, a lot less time and money.

I am of course hoping they'll write some quality plots in the future.

Despite their needs to meet their quota, the trend of releasing stale material will kill them. Their need to branch out is not met with so much praise as they hoped since there are developers who do what they attempt to do in a much better fashion.

What is the Mass Effect team currently doing? Damage control? I imagine that once Dragon Age 3 is released the Dragon Age team will be doing the same thing.

Dragon Age 4.

Why a new IP? Dragon Age has great history and lore and the world is huge where much hasn't even been explored and yet people would want a new IP with new history and lore when we haven't even explored much of Dragon Age?

Because honestly the Dragon Age universe isnt worth exploring, the only reason Origins was successful is because most people believed it to be a sign that Bioware was returning to its roots, however between the bland and uninteresting universe and the LOLcats quality writing (lololol Sten likes cookies) Origins really wasnt that great.

But that is just my opinion on the subject and I am sure that the Dragon Age team will do what they will do regardless of it.

When are they going to make a sequel to Origins?

Dragon Age 2 was the sequel to Origins.

Scifi Shooter without Mass Effect title

They seem to be Bioware's new thing .. *buries RPG in backyard* kidding ..

Well after playing Skyrim to death (gets REAL boring REAL fast) the only real RPG's out there with the playability factor are the Bioware titles. Admittedly I do play Star Trek Online a lot but that is the only MMO worth playing. (did try SWTOR but was sorely disappointed). I would like to see an MMO on consoles as the only one is DC Universe Online for the PS3 and as I have the 360 I had to rely on the PC version. Again poor. What the gaming community needs and wants (from what I'm seeing on this forum and others about) is either a licenced DC or Marvel RPG {had a great idea for the marvel rpg, at the start you choose how you got your powers, ie: radioactivity or the mutant X-gene, and according to your choice you have the possibility of joining either the X-Men, Avengers, Defenders etc..}.

Although a new universe created entirely by Bioware would be cool, but everyone would just recreate their favourite heroes, like you see in the WWE franchise games.

Well there is my two pennies worth.

I dont know, what ever the Mass Effect team's new game is, while it may be likely that the team will continue to milk the Mass Effect franchise for all its worth I was hoping that once Shepard's trillogy had been concluded that the Mass Effect would get to work on something different, a new IP perhaps?

Ravenloft *drool*

Something spy, secret agent based... a better Alpha Protocol. A western epic Need more good western epics. Norse mythology.

My ultimate dream is for a good, victorian fog, horse and carriage, cobblestone vampire hunting game. No Castlevania magic.
