Thought it deserved to be mentioned, too speculative to pass up.

You ******** me right Pinoy? 16GB+ on 360 and over friggin 37GB+ on PC?!

http://pinoytutorial...ter-mp3-reveal/

Is Rockstar aiming to make GTA V the worlds most massive open world game that has ever being created?

And i thought MP3 was massive:blink::huh:

Well they did say "biggest world ever made by them" And if you ever played Body Harvest, or RDR, then thats saying alot. Honestly I think I'm dumping Rainbow Six, and Aliens for this.

Im not dumping patriots for GTA V though, but if this gets any more sources to pick it up, im pre-ordering GTA V as soonest rockstar tells the official release date.

It almost sounds like it's gonna be over 3 cds on disc!

Defaq?!
The publishers need bluray disks for that. WTH we're going to do to hold and keep safe 16 DVDs?!

Hmm. This reminds me of how one analyst said GTAV may be digital only. Maybe for Xbox and PC the game will be on several discs and will have to be downloaded.

I'ld say two discs would be enough. They've gotten better at Data compression over the years.

As to Patriots Vez, ehh I would like to get it, but some of the Screens just scream "LOL LOOK COD MW3 MOVIE GAME!"

If it's anything like GTA4 it will suck.

37 gb on PC, lol. What an effin' joke. Rockstar couldn't do a competent port to save their lives. And I bet my left nut they use the same clunky animations and the same crappy gunplay.

Not true.

Bully
L.A Noire
GTA 4

All terrible ports and L.A Noire's port was handled by Rockstar.

From the previews, it looks like they might be taking a San Andreas approach, at least I hope! I was majorly disappointed with GTA IV, so I'm not pre-ordering this one.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought GTA IV was lame - they really threw the baby out with the bathwater on that one. San Andreas is still the best one IMHO, unless the new one can do better.

It coasted to victory on a novel idea, critically speaking, but failed to deliver solid gameplay mechanics. Aiming your weapon, moving, cover, quest and save point structure - all these are just plain bad. From a gameplay perspective SR3 does everything better. It also lacked depth. Not including progression or some variant of XP was a mistake. So in the end it wasn't enough to make a game about one guy's life in modern society.

They have the resources to improve, but looking at Max Payne I see the same mistakes in the gun play. This is all aside from the fact they hate PC gamers and deliver crappy ports.

Oh thank god if true. I could not drive in GTA IV to save my soul. Nevermind the shotty HP and controls and just the whole "realism" in terms of the cops being on your ass for even running a toll booth. I hate that game for many, many reasons.

And nah Goron, Vice City was the Best.

I actually love GTA4. Yes, San Andres had more too it, but I thought IV was a great game on its own.

You can actually store 16GB on a double-sided dual-layered disk. 8GB on a single-sided dual-layered disk.

So GTA will only need 1 or 2 disks for GTA. That's about as much as every single other major game these days.

World of Warcraft is over 40GB by the way. So yeah, go figure. :P

The euphoria engine is kind of awesome imo. It makes the gunplay fun in GTA IV and Max Payne 3.

I never had any problems with the gameplay mechanics in GTA IV - my problem is that they sacrificed everything great about San Andreas and added... well, nothing much tbh. SA was a step forward, GTA IV was two steps back. :/

Rockstar games have never been known for their gun play. There's a reason for that. Gun combat in SR3 is far better.

I'm not saying it's the best or anything but it's not crap either. I've played far worse.

Yikes, I'm going to be buying this on PS3 for convenience alone.
