You're going to have a rough time, but... um... you're going to have to split your primary stat between strength and magic. Your secondary stat will have to be split between dex and willpower. You probably won't have the points left over for con, but you can find an amulet that'll give you a significant boost at the expense of 3 willpower if you have Stone Prisoner.
You're going to end up as a mage that can equip a twohander, with a decent selection of spells, but you won't be able to spam magic. If you decide to equip armor, you're going to have trouble casting more than 3-4 spells in one battle.
Playing as a mage with the Arcane Warrior spec will end with a much stronger character: You'll have access to mage spells, but you'll be able to focus on magic exclusively as your primary statistic. Your secondary statistic -can- still be split between willpower and dex, but if you get Miasma (the spell) that's not quite as important.

Arcane Warriors have an ability that changes Str requirement to Magic requirement, for both weapon power & equipping. For more info for AW, go here:

So what your saying is... you want to be completely gimped? Refusing to go Arcane Warrior so you don't have to spec Strength is just dumb.
Whats the point anyway... if you could use Petrify/Cone of Cold then shatter the target with Mighty Blow yourself it'd be interesting, but using a 2 handed weapon without skills for it is going to suck badly.
