I tried adventuring with less party members, but i still get the same amount of xp when I kill something so far.

I was hoping that adventuring with less party members might mean more xp and thus a higher level. Can anyone confirm that you never get more xp with less members?

Thanks :)

Your level caps at 25 anyway, and if you really feel the need to hit that number there are always the repeatable turn-in quests in camp.

It's great, keeps the challenge level up unlike in for example BG2 where you are at a massive disadvantage at the start but then become much more powerful than a group of 6 when you're pushing level 20-30 where the group would be like level 10-13 ish each.

You still get advantages from the bonuses in the Magi Tower Fade.

What about ranger pets? Do they steal xp when in party?

Getting extra XP due to the absence of party members never made any sense, anywhere, any game, any time.

No.

I've heard that if your pet solo a mob, you don't get xp for that mob. So in that sense, they "steal" xp. But no, there's no built in xp-hogging and the fact that you don't get xp for killing with the pet is more likely than not just an oversight or unintended bug.

Yes you always get the same xp.

If you solo, you do it just for more challenge, not because you get more xp.

regardless of Soloing, what if you have less party members at camp ?? less members should = more XP for each player at camp no ??

example, if you tell Sten to leave, Leliana to leave, Morrigan to Leave and kill Z when he ambush's you, will Alistar, doggy and shale advance faster ??

No, they will always have level less then main character if you keep them in camp.

okay, but will they potentially level up faster than if you have more characters at camp ?? basically, i didn't let anyone join my crew in hopes that at the end of the game, my character and my party members will be stronger than if i would have had a bigger team..

does that make sence ?

No, everyone gets the same XP at the end of the fight, regardless of where they are or how many of them there are.

It doesn't matter. Experience doesn't split between party members. If you get 50 exp from killing something all active party members will get 50 exp. And as I said crew left at camp will be always one level below main character. It's actually better to get all your companions as soon as possible. Otherwise they might be gimped(especially 2handers).

Oi.  I had a friend who tried telling me the same thing.  My retaliation...how would Wynn level up if whoever made the kill got the exp?  She never kills anything.

Yes, and no.  I haven't reached it on the PC version yet, but a friend of mine reached it on his Xbox, and he could still level up.  The number stays at 25, but he still got skill/talent points.  Not sure on attribute.
