this is totally selfish. I just want to share some things i been thinking about. not looking for a debate, just holler if you like what i thought about.

so, all through the game, shepard has been having these nightmares. well ok it was two or three times, but anyhow, this happened. so when i restarted it today, i went into hte dream sequence and i was thinking about how the movement is the same as the stagger into the citadel beam.  now I already thought from the moment the harbinger beam struck, shepard was hallucinating. the trees on hte parched and impacted ground was the first pointer. the nightmarish hall with bodies evrywhere also seemed out of place. and the discussions with anderson and then the illusive man just seemed odd.
so when i played again and sawe teh first dream, I was watching the structure. shepard runs among the forest, and goes towards the kid. as the dream develops later on in the game, the dream includes teh remnants of teh dead in the forest, but still persuing the kid.
we could view this as some type of indoctrination, or it could be some connection with starchild via the same messed up stuff that hapened with the beacon.
it seems to me that throughout the game is the themse of the potential for indoctrination and how shepard could be very good at resisting it. the final conversations between shepard and illusive man and anderson, I feel like it is an internal conflict.  now, if this end sequence is a dream, it could be a test for shepard.
now there are many possibilities coming from here. my thoughts are all a bit jumbled right now but i am thinking of lots of possibilities like the people who created starchild could have also created teh initial plans for the crucible.  in this case, the reapers would indoctrinate but the crucible waits for a person who is capable of resisting indoctrination. so this final sequence could be the final test. the resistance of teh indoctrination allows the reapers to be overcome.  yeah i know it's ill thought out and probably not very strong idea but it's something i wanted to indulge in.
I think if i play hte game some more then I will get more ideas and make more connections between present themes. I have faith in hte developers and i believe they made the game this way on purpose. they didn't explain everything clear as day so it is up to us to figure it out. well perhaps they made it too tough so it's a good thng extended cut is coming out.  but until then, I'll still have fun thinking about it.
