^ She would be a WONDERFUL Candidate for DLC. If does does create a DLC Mission with her in the Squad, they better NOT create for her to die off without us having the ability to save her. I want something similar or BETTER than what the Liaramancers got in ME2 with LOTSB.

Miranda got much more content than Liara in ME 2 before LOTSB, also Aria T'loak in ME 3, those few conversations with her makes it obvious that they are planning something big for Aria, just like for Liara in ME 2, I've heard there were parts of planed LOTSB content already on disc(recorded lines and such). so if they do make DLC for Miranda it will be obvious Fanservice.

I say Bioware should have NEVER listened to their fans concerning anything aside from Gameplay, then at least we wouldn't have a raging/hating/trolling/whining/jealous minority.

to be fair though, EDI and Ashley aren't really any better anymore with their "needed to be sexy" (as said in the artbook) redesigns.

Is dat ass even close to the amount of fanservice Tali and Garrus get? ;)

The developers didn't want too many ME 2 characters to be in the squad because they didn't want people screwed up the suicide mission to miss out.

The only reason why Tali and Garrus made it, is so they could have squadmates that have been at Shepard's side throughout the entire trilogy.

So they decided to sideline Miranda because of fanservice to Talimancers and Garrusmancers.

Here are the problems I have with that:

1. Miranda has a much more important role in the story than Tali or Garrus
2. They could have easily swapped Vega's place with Miranda's
3. Adding one more squadmate would do little to impact the amount of content that each squadmate recieves, considering I already found the content from ME3's squad to be less interesting than the way it was handled in ME1 and 2.
4. Tali and Garrus can die on the Suicide Mission as well
5. Miranda is extremely hard to kill on the Suicide Mission for a reason

1) If the plot revolved around Cerberus. Miranda wouldn't have been able to get close to an Alliance ship during the prlouge.

It was fanservice, but fanservice isn't a bad thing when literally 89% of the fanbase like those two characters.

2) No they couldn't. The beggining was rushed enough. Having Miranda there wouldn't make sense, and having her leave Cerberus and joing the Alliance would have been badly done... THERE WAS NO TRIAL FFS! xD

3) You really need to go back to those two games, because ME3 had the most banter, the most party interaction and the most dialogue between squadmates.

ME1 was too systematic and ME2 was too spread out.

4) Everyone can die on the Suicide Mission. If no one could, it would be boring.

5) Everybody has a fair chance of survival. The only one that gets screwed is Mordin if you don't have him on escort duty.

I support replacing the movable EDI with Miranda in the Normandy.

She should of had a bigger part in the game to be fair, especially since cerberus is a main enemy now, no better to choose from than the iilusive mans ex right hand (wo)man

She admits to knowing little of TIM's plans. And attacking Cerberus full on wasn't a priority until the last few missions. It was a war with the Reapers, Cerberus were merely a nuisance until Lt. Bastard Kai-Leng came along and stole that data.

It would be if she was chosen over them as a squadmate. Saying "Miranda was sidelined because of Tali/Garrus fanservice" is silly because were she in and not them, one could say the exact opposite statement.

1. Miranda isn't even with Cerberus anymore.
2. So you're saying that Tali, Garrus, and Liara are joining the Alliance when they join your crew?

3. I noticed, but I personally found all the banter to be tiring and uninteresting.

I'm at a loss as to why that would be "paragon", even with the P/R system as horribly inconsistent as it often is.

He's making a bad joke about how he considers killing Miranda to be a heroic action in his little mind of his.

How exactly was the Shadow Broker Base destroyed again? And it's true: Miranda is no longer working for Cerberus. She even told TIM off in the Collector Base. It's not fair knowing that if Miri were to step onto the Normandy again, all the crew members would treat her like trash. I hate the Alliance. If only you were working for no one in ME3. Neither the Alliance, nor Cerberus. Railroading......

I know; I was just playing along to see what kind of a response I could get out of him.

Really though, I don't understand some people's fascination with killing characters. I'm not very fond of Miranda, but I made sure I got her through both ME2 and ME3 alive anyway. I don't even kill Jacob.

I think that Miranda should have been available (compulsory?) for the Cerberus Cronos Station mission. A showdown between her and Kai Leng would have been good to see (spoilers considered). I'd have liked to see some sort of confrontation between her and TIM as well, almost feels like her story-arch deserves that.

On my first playthrough I kept everyone alive. On others, I've killed Jack, Jacob, and Tali....

No. Most people agree that her role in ME3 was rather lackluster.

I meant her character in general. It was created, like the enitre asari race, for fanservice purposes.

According to your post it seems  Miranda and Asari are there for sex appeal and their fans are a bunch of brainless perverts. at least that's how I get it, never knew I liked Asari only for their  sexy blue bodies!

Unlike you about Asari, I understand that people love Quarians not just because of their big butts and hips. same goes for Miranda, I don't like her, but at least I know that her fans love her for her personality and not for her oversexualised ass. so don't make false assumptions.

I must have missed the part where I said any of that...  who's making assumptions now?

No, but I fail to see what that has to do with anything. Just because they were made specifically to appeal to people on a sexual basis (which is difficult to deny) doesn't mean I assume that's the only reason why anybody likes them. I like EDI despite the fact that her robot body was designed for similar reasons, after all.

If they were made specifically for only sex appeal, devs wouldn't bother to flesh them out.
if it doesn't mean you assume that's the only reason people like them, why call them fanservice? oh you don't like Asari, and why leave EDI out? oh you like her so...

Garrus and Tali are in my 3 most favorites,  but still know they are fanservice.
