M. Night Shymalan. It'd be so horrible, The Last Airbender would seem like Inception next to it. I"d pay for that.

I still have nightmares from that movie. I'm not sure how Shymalan can claim to have ever been a fan of the TV show, given how the final product turned out.

It's a tv series, unfortunately it was shamefully and brutally cut by the network (it even aired it with a random episode sequence), but became a cult in dvd, to the point that they even made the film "Serenity" to give a proper conclusion (well, sort of, it couldn't possibly close all the loose ends) to the series.
It's awesome!
