Well this thread kinda went in its own direction.

I just made it to inform people who haven't bought it yet about the problems in the game and they might be a little cautious for now.

On the online DRM issue, I don't agree with it but I can see the positives too. I do believe that by being online 24/7 is gets rid of many problems from D2. Like item duping, which can ruin the entire economy. It's not all bad.

However, the other end you run into problems like I ran into. And not having offline SP really sucked for that but it wasn't the end of the world.  24/7 online DRM has negatives and positives. It's not entirely negative.
