Why not show all characters (in one frame) instead of specific ones? That would be easier and wouldn't make them look like lazy as ****.

I just brought this up in a similar thread.

1. Why would someone not agree (referring to another post)? Not agree with what? The fact that you see three random faces? An explanation of that statement would help.

2. I think I would have preferred faces of all my squadmates, saying one thing or another rather than 3 random ones, and instead of dial-a-squadmate.

3. This makes perfect sense if you play Shepard one way like Bioware wanted you to - which is probably the same path that would be the most understandable to that shiny new target audience EA was gunning for.

The official answer to your question is none, I don't think anyone from Bioware ever said anything on this issue.

The unofficial information is that they had technical problems with flashbacks of other LIs and couldn't fix it before the game had to go gold so they defaulted to Liara's flashback for everyone sans people who romanced Kaidan/Ash. We heard about this from a guy on Something Awful forums who proved himself correct on many stuff prior the release of the game, however, he was also incorrect on some things so don't take this info as anything official. But it does make sense

You even ninja'ed me into a romance in ME1 and I had to load a prior save to get you off me. I think you're very smart and very sweet, but you're not the girl for me.

I romanced ASHLEY in Mass Effect 1, but we broke up and I instead romanced Tali in my second-shot at life in ME2 and all through ME3. Ashley became one of my best friends, and Tali became my one and only.

... So, why is my Shepard's last living thought of some girl I wasn't that attracted to and tried to keep at arm's length throughout three games? Why wasn't I thinking of my first love, Ashley, or my final love, Tali? Heck, why can't I think about my BFF, the one and only Archangel of Purgatory?

(Seriously, does ANYONE care about Anderson more than Garrus? ... Oh yeah? Well, what if Garrus was born in London TOO?!)

Thematically, I'm... confused. My Shepard's brain is not making sense right now. Again, no offense to you, Liara... you have a great body... but Liara was one of the LAST people I was thinking of as the galaxy was coming to a close. I was thinking of those that I had bonded with more over my playthroughs... of Tali, Ashley, Jack, Garrus, Thane, Kasumi, Samara, Wrex, Traynor, Jacob...

(Ha ha, totally kidding about that last one)

So, my Shepard's last statement is "I... don't know" and my Shepard's last thought is "Liara".

... And the game's last words are "downloadable content".

I am not amused.

I romanced Miranda 5 times.....and the last bit I get of her is a hologram of her telling me to "finish this and find me" and when the game ends, I'm not sure if I can find her and I don't even "think" about her as the destroy tube blows up in my face? smh.....

I mean....not even a smile? Or me remembering that moment when she hung up on TiM at the Collector Base? Or shooting Wilson? Or her winking at me in the Normandy elevator?

And no Jacob, Thane, Jack, or Grunt? Smh.....Grunt's fist pump when he says "right on your ass!", Jacob's cheesy salute? Jack throwing a chair at Miranda? Or Kasumi lounging in the corner of her room? Even Samara's meditation pose and glow? All of those things should have be included and that type of content didn't even need to done fresh, it could have been video capped from ME-2! The way amateurs do it on youtube......

I REALLY Hope the Extended Cut Fixes this Problem. I Survive in My "Destroy" Ending, but in that situation, when shooting the area to Destroy the Reapers, I (My Shepard) have STRONG Feelings that I'm going to die, and I want MY Last Thought to be Miri, My ONLY Mass Effect Love Interest<3. I don't want my last thoughts to be Liara. It's Wrong and Awkward for me.

But yeah my Shep romanced Liara and stayed loyal so I was happy her last thought was of her one and only love, Liara.

Heck that scene just finished it for me and sort of nearly made me cry >.>

It was being selfish and lazy, because BioWare knows that NOT ALL Players love Liara. So why? Why didn't they program that Scene to vary for ALL LIs????

You have known Liara for 5 years.
Hackett and Liara are solely responsible for finding the Crucible. Liara also has plot armor. Liara also mind melds in ME1 helping you a great deal. She helps you on Illium,slightly. Liara cares for Shepard as much as Tali or Garrus,and retrieves your body before ME2,so there can be a ME2. Without Liara the franchise would have died. It makes sense to remember a women who has help so much during the Reaper conflict. I would have loved to see all characters though,even the dead ones. I am about to join them ya know?

I am upset with Joker,although this is the 2nd time Joker has watched me die. It is fitting that I think of him as I pass. I blame Joker!!! IMO Joker is the most unimportant thing to happen to ME,aside from Chobot.

NOT Me! I started playing the Series in Early 2010, with ME2, so I had NO clue who the ME1 Characters were. I played ME1 later on...in October of 2010, so I am More Emotionally Attached to the ME2 Characters. I feel that THEY are, and ALWAYS will be my Number 1 Mass Effect Team, and Family.
