Why is the last thought my Shepard has of Liara?

Do you happen to know where to find Cortez, Garrus, Traynor, Miranda, Jack and Kelly flashbacks too?

Liara is Bioware's pet, so BW is insidiously trying to promote Liara. That or the game is an unfinished product.
Or both should be another consideration... As I remember Genesis seemed to have started that trend.

The issue is not that "oh, I'm only seeing Liara", it's that Shepard should have been thinking about everyone he fought with and at the very least, his LI should have been included. I don't mind Liara's face being there, but in my Miranda LI saves, her face should have popped up at some point.matthewmi wrote...
Probably thinking of Liara because without her you'd have never had the ability to stop the reapers, your body wouldn't have been recovered and you'd never have been brought back. She was also the key to unlocking the visions in ME1 since Shepard had no idea that he was seeing Ilos. She seemed to be a great friend throughout the series, and to everyone complaining about any squadmember you can just not talk to them it's pretty easy. Liara has what three or four total scenes that are unskippable in ME3? Doesn't seem like a horrible problem, but then what would people complain about on the forums.

I never understood why only three characters show up. If you're going to pull that "remembering the loved ones" thing, at least do it right.
That would mean 3 nods from Wrex for me.

Well that means making cinematics for at least 6 or 7 leftout characters, most notably Mordin, Miranda, Wrex, Tali, Garrus, Jack, Thane, and Jacob. Crap, that's 8, isn't it?KnifeForkAndSpoon wrote...
Surely they could just patch this
We'll see how the "Extended Cut" shapes out....but this part of the ending in particular is a dealbreaker for me. They don't fix this, I'm done.

There already exists cinematics for all prior characters they could have used from scenes before the ending. They wouldn't have to create new scenes... That's how fans can fix this themselves, though the fact that fans have to fix the game themselves is a problem.

Those 3 scenes of Liara, Joker and Anderson, I've never seen those shots before. It seems like they made those little clips specifically for that moment. With that said, I agree that there's plenty of available "footage" of every squadmate and friend that Shepard would consider in his fold.Garlador wrote...

The problem is, and I guess most BSN posters dont realize this, this is also a CONSOLE GAME. Sorry if that comes off as angry but I'm actually baffled by the perception on this site that everyone plays games on PC. It's almost as if people on here don't realize that Mass Effect exists on console and they're not aware of consoles at all.....as a PS3 user, I have no remedy for any of the massive mistakes Bioware made....it's infuriating....

I do agree that your love interest should be one of your memories, but Liara has a legitimate place in your thoughts no matter what!!
Mass Effect 1: Sheppard and her had a psychic bonding.
Mass Effect 2: Shadow Broker... Remember?
Liara is the one who brought Sheppard's corps to Cerberus because she knew that they were the only ones with the budget and craziness to bring him back... Maybe she's not Sheppards love interest in your story but know that she would probably go through hell and beyond for him/her. She loves him/her.
