It's not about what I need, it's about what you need. You need to know the truth. I don't like Liara being the canon LI any more than you, but that's just the way the game is. I can't just let you think that your romance option is a valid choice, I'd be shirking my duties as a Mass Effect Truth Bringer.

I believe that I have submitted sufficient evidence to prove that this is not my creation, but Bioware's  anyone can discover the truth about Shepards's adventures if they know how to connect the dots.
