They wouldn't have send you a code.
You should just be able to download the black emporium as soon as you bought the game.

It's really not worth the bother. There are a few things there that are interesting and by the time you've got the money, you will also have better gear.

It has several useful items, such as the respec pots. It is also the only place to get the rune of fortune recipe.

Also, some people enjoy the mirror of transformation that lets you tweak your character looks.

A few interesting things, but nothing really of any great worth. Quite a forgettable piece of DLC.

It has some of the best items in the game for sale, if you knew what you were talking about.

Typical BSN reaction.  Troll someone you disagree with.

I didn't realize the truth constituted "trolling."

It's fine not to know what you're talking about, but don't mislead others with it.

I forgot opinion equals truth on the BSN and that throwing tantrums because someone doesn't like something you did is totally acceptable.

Except it's not opinion. It's demonstrably true that some of the best items in the game come from the Black Emporium, in every Act. You sure take being wrong awfully hard.

If that constitutes a "tantrum" to you, lol.

Tantrum? Hardly. LOL

I loved the black emporium mostly because of being able to make alterations to my characters face. Plus, if I missed any components in the previous act they would show up there for me to buy.

I found the Black Emporium entirely unnecessary.

I'm not sure what tone you decided to inject and read into Filament's response, but it seems quite unfair.

As for the Black Emporium, the wiki points out some of its highlights. Perhaps you didn't care for it, or its role in the game, but that doesn't make it worthless. It simply didn't fit in well with how you played the game.

Seemed fairly dickish to me.  I give my opinion based on my experience and get told that 'I know nothing'.  Seems like the butthurt fanboy reaction that seems common place on the BSN.  I'll admit you may be right that it didn't fit in with how I played, but I'm perfectly free to give my opinion based on my experience.  I still think the Emporium isn't necessary.

You are free to give your opinion. As is everyone else here. At no point in anything posted that was contrary to your opinion was there anything "dickish." No one told you that you "know nothing." And no one was exuding any so-called "butthurt" (which is really a term that should be over and done with).

If that is how you interpreted the counter opinions, that's unfortunate. But even as such, there's no need to start declaring people "fanboys" and using the term as a pejorative in your response.

Some people loved the Emporium, some people didn't. And there is a whole gamut of opinion in between. Perhaps we should leave it at that.

The only butthurt I've seen so far is yours.

If you had phrased it that way, I wouldn't have taken issue with it. It's fine if you don't think the DLC is "worth it" as a product. But what you actually said that I took issue with was that it had no items of "great worth." You can try to wiggle out of that and say you only meant "worth" in the most subjective sense, though that conflicts with your earlier statement that "you already have better gear." But if we're talking about "worth" in the sense of good stats, that's simply not true, and it's not throwing a "dickish fanboy tantrum" just to point that out.

I'm not claiming to know every item in the shop, I'm just speaking from my experience. I'm not posting here to go back and forth on this. I'm done on this.
