I think the worn/weathered look adds a lot to a jacket too, which is why I love Superdry leather jackets, as they look like they've been worn for years. I doubt it'll be an option to get one weathered, but personally speaking I would love the option. Wishful thinking there I know.
Anyway can't wait to see more photos of how it's developing.

Besides, that I think there really isn't anything they could realistically do that would make it look closer to the videos games.
Uh, they could try fixing the collar and removing those buttons for a start

I have to say, I agree with what seems to be the majority opinion here - fix the collar to make it match the in-game jacket. I, like others want the jacket from the Mass Effect universe, not a biker jacket with an N7 patch on it.
Also, it looks like the jacket in game is brown and red leather, not black. The picture on your facebook page looks like it's black? And the red looks too bright, as others have stated.
And somebody mentioned a bit closer fitting, I agree.
Anyway, hope you see fit to make THE jacket, not just one based off it, cos you'll probably sell a lot more. I'd have one, for sure.
It just looks cooler here: http://i43.tinypic.com/1hf5ut.png

No news yet? How long does it usually take from concept stage to finished product?
Give them time. I don't wanna rush them if it means we'll get a worse product.
*insert ME3 ending joke here.*

Looks like early next year.
Better to make sure that we really like the jacket, then release a product that we can't stand behind 100% -- that's out stance when it comes to items that we are producing in-house.

We didn't like the design of the first one, just didn't seem right. So, we've had to go back to the drawing board - including finding a new manufacturer. Once we get a design that we think is up to par, we'll let you see it and get more feedback.

That's the only stance to take as far as I'm concerned. Thanks a lot for the update! At least now I'll have even more time to save up money for it :-)

An official Bioware jacket would probably retail upwards of $500(they seem to love that number)

My guess the project has been cancelled but several people seem to selling replica jackets, probably for the best.

Well I for one hope that the project is still alive. I'd much rather spend $500 or above on something that looks good than spend money on the cheap looking replicas I've seen on the net. Hopefully Ms Domino will be able to give an update soon.

You would seriously spend ~$500 on a BioWare made leather jacket?

So... 8 months ago it was potentially "early next year."
Any updates?
