As a rule of thumb, real hands are as big as the respective person's face, real feet as big as their head.RV0LVr wrote...

However in DAO hands are as big as heads and feet even bigger!
It's nothing new. I've learned to stomach/ignore it.
But while playing with the CC yesterday it occured to me that the gloves and gauntlets look about right, so the solution behind the mystery proportions is that bare hands are basically flesh-colored gloves - probably for memory reasons. The same thus goes for feet (everything as big as heavy steel armor boots).

DA:O certainly isn't the first to do this. I'll agree that they look a bit off in the CC, but I think they'll look quite a bit different when the models are actually animated during play.

Actually, the real rule of thumb for the feet is that the foott is as long as your forearm, go ahead and try it, should fit right in, from the interior of the elbow up to the end of the wrist, just before the palm.As a rule of thumb, real hands are as big as the respective person's face, real feet as big as their head.

You people are freaks. I put my forearm up to my foot, and it goes from my elbow to a good inch below my wrist. The bottom of my palm lined up with the edge of my chin leaves the tips of my fingers just above the eyebrow. If my hands and feet were as big as you people say I'd walk around looking like a disney character fused with a clown.

If you place your foot on top of the forearm of a bent arm, it should go to the wrist. Don't measure all the way from the outside of the elbow, but from the inside of the elbow (inside of the arm).
