So I turned on my Xbox 360 and there it was on the front page it had an AD with a trailer for Divinity II , it intruiged me because well there was swords & dragons and whatnot in the picture

So I watch the trailer and went check the wikipedia page on it , it seems really cool. You get to be a warrior/mage who can turn into a dragon and even fly and stuff.

Wikipedia says you get your own tower and you can create/customize your armor , weapons , pets , and so forth. Wiki also says it runs on the same engine as Oblivion which is good to hear

Just one thing though , I've never heard of the company that is making it , so I think theres a possibility it may suck because the last time I tried a no name brand RPG (Two worlds) it sucked lol

Apparently its been out in europe for a while now , but is set for release in North america on January 5th

So what do you all think?

Edit : So I watched videos and looked at screenshots , the characters movement looks absolutley retarded like there was no mo cap at all. The graphics suck , the voice acting sucks , the helmets all look stupid... I guess it could technically be a fun game despite that stuff but annoying graphics & stuff like that just annoys me alot , I think I'll skip on this one , well for now anyway maybe if it gets great reviews I will probably buy it anyway

Divinity 2 - Ego draconis is out for a while, so it's hardly "upcoming"... ;D

I played it because I loved the first part(Divine Divinity) it's an okay game, but too hack'n slashy for me so I never finished it. I thought the graphics are ok, and I really cannot comment on the voice acting since mine was german dialouge/english subtitles.

Larian studios is a german gaming studio that has been around for quite some time now.  They made Divinity 1 and 2 for PC and were rather enjoyable.    Just imagine miniature versions of baldur's gate.  I'm unsure on part 3 that is due for release in january.  The main character sure walks/runs funny.
