I've become partial to the Dwarven origins.

I´d have to say human noble. Maybe because it happens to be my favourite. His/her backstory just seems to be made for a heroic character who protects people and saves the day.

There is also what Bryce says. "Our son will not die of Howe´s treachery. He will live and leave his mark on the world".

Thats pretty epic in my opinion.

if you think about it, all of them are heroistic. The human noble survived the treachory of a supposed ally, and swore to save his/her family and bring howe to justice. dalish elf ventured into an uncharted ruin to try and find a relic so his/her people can learn more of their culture. then he/ she got sick and ventured back in to find your friend. the city elf broke in/ broke out and killed the bastard who kidnapped your friends and raped your cousin. the mage origin dealt with the injustice of the templars and survived the harrowing. then risked all/ remained loyal and attemted to help your childhood friend taste freedom/ help your old role model who has always cared for you. the dwarf noble was the commander of an expedition to try and recover your people's former glory, then when his/her people kicked he/she didn't give up insted they fought through an entire taig to reach freedom. the castless was always treated like dirt. he/she did what they had to to get by. and when they tried to prove themselves, they got locked up so they broke out and reached glory on  the surface.Posted Image

I find the dwarf commoner to be an heroic figure because he rises from a life of poverty and being nothing to saving the world.

The dwarf commoner wasn't just poor, their mother was a drunk and they were a thug, killing and robbing people to make a living.  If anything, the casteless are the easiest to rp a killer, because that's all they know.  Becoming the "hero of Ferelden" and Arl of Amaranthine is quite the status upgrade.
