Level 6 is armor piercing rockets or flamethrower. No one in their right mind, after using them, would choose rockets over the flamethrower, even after this "buff".

The idea is charging into an enemy or a small cluster of them, heavy melee, detonate TA, with the stagger you can lock another heavy melee or retreat. And the cooldown time is very low.Cyonan wrote...

Most people don't feel it's worth giving up a 100% increase in effective health/shields while that close to the enemy. Some people can make the detonation work, but nobody can really say you aren't giving up a ton of defense while in CQC to do it, which is kind of counter productive to what Tech Armour is supposed to be about.

Exactly. The fact that Krogan Sentinels can cancel the slow recast animation with a heavy melee just makes it that much more hilarious.
A Batarian Soldier and a Krogan Sentinel working together is a sight to behold.

40% damage resistance on a Human Sentinel with a 30% power damage boost and less than a .2 second penalty on Warp? What part of that was necessary? They were already the best character to use against Reapers without a doubt and now they're even better.
Now we'll have to deal with the deluge of morons out there who start proclaiming "OMG, TECH ARMOR IS FINALLY USEABLE!!"...except its always been an amazing power, they just were ignorant parrots who saw "60% cooldown penalty" and crapped their diapers.
