Mr Priestly has done 2 topics one asking what people want from the EC and this one I'd love to know why? is he getting info for the EC or some other DLC as a Bioware employee or is he asking as just another fan? and why not post on BSN?

Right now Bioware is not on THEIR own forums talking about IDT. Hell they are barely on these forums at all at this point.
It says a lot, to see a discussion that should be happening on the BSN occuring on HTL.
It shows Bioware is weak right now. But most importantly it shows they aren't sure of what they are going to do. Their Artistic Vision no longer matters and they are and have considered changing the endings.

Since this is the official forum, I'd assume Bioware employees regularly collects data from here as part of their duty. At least they would make some interns do it:P

But its so clear that there's more to the ending than meets the eye, Shepard bleeding from where he shot Anderson is the one that stand out the most to me. How people can just disregard it and put it down to bad writing seriously baffles me.

I'm pretty sure it just shows that these forums are an even worst hatefest than the HTL forums, and that every BioWare employer that have even tried to show his face in endings-related forums got buried in hate and name-calling insults.
If people here were at least polite during the past months, maybe there will be more presence in "their own" forums.
Anyway, it's more probable that they just lurks here, filtering the hate and reading what could actually be useful. They don't need post like that poll because they already have everything in-sight here.

You don't design any aspect of the game for the minority. The discussion that is occuring on HTL can just as easily be held on the BSN. It's not preference of who hates the game the most, or who hates the ending the most. So it can't be about the most disgruntled populace, when the customer who buys the game isn't going to go to HTL to post their issues. They are going to come here, the BSN, to where apparently they don't want to engage in any discussion.
The posters on HTL are no more disgruntled then any other poster on this forum.
@Jonata - It was the same people in Retake, that consist of HTL, that created the majority of the backlash that was seen on these forums. The same people. All the rage, hate, and backlash.

yeh but that is part of the problem the total silance since all this started it would help if they tried to talk to us openly sure they would get some greaf but just as many would talk to them in a propper manner (I hope)

Cannot be bothered in creating an account on HTL.com since I never really bothered that much with voicing malcontent regarding the last fifteen minutes of ME3.
IT allows for a clean slate for a better, "real" ending.
IT doesn't invalidate Control nor Destroy; it does write off Synthesis as the "Reapers win" ending - although even with that particular option you could have some fun for a better, the "real", ending.
IT falls in line perfectly with the original idea Bioware toyed with just months before releasing ME3; indoctrination and assuming control of the movement of Shepard - yet this was scrapped because it didn't work out gameplay wise.
Really it allows for so much - why wouldn't you go for it?

I'm pretty sure that's exactly it. Hold the Line is a nice, easy collection of the people who are most passionate about how much they dislike the ending. Around the Bioware forums, it's a bit more jumbled.
