I don't believe IT is or ever was real. (I would be ecstatic to eat my words of doubt if it proved true, however.)

Sorry, I didn't mean to insinuate anything; just sounded like you may have just glanced at the poll results.

I would say a lot of the HTL forumgoers are pretty jaded and think IT gives Bioware too much credit, thus you'd probably see more IT support here than there.

Eh as far as I'm concerned it's an attempt to make sense of the nonsensical. It does so in a very creative way, and I'm impressed at the amount of thought that went into it. But it still doesn't answer things to my satisfaction.

But to its credit it does answer questions at least as well as teh ending we did get...

That's the great part about the Theory....it gives Bioware a chance to make sense of things, because it basically means the end wasn't the "end"

I bet alot of 'yes' votes aren't because people believe Shep is indoctrinated, case closed, but an outlet to say this reality ending sucks. Anything but this.

The great part about it is it means Bioware managed to indoctrinate players...
The fanbase is split in two and people are arguing in favor of things the Reapers brainwash people into believing...

We are experiencing the events of a cycle here...
It allows the players to go through what Shepard does on a level I can't say has been achieved before...

There is way too much hate here. Besides there is a good chance he was interested in finding out this information from that sub-group of fans and not the whole BSN.

I am a member of the BSN, HTL and Facebook page.
I am not evil and I don't believe I am stupid.......lol.
If you go over to HTL now as I did, Mr. Priestly original post that started his thread is the same, if he edited it it would show on the bottom of his post along with the time and reason.
I also would like to know his reasons for reaching out to HTL, why BioWare ME3 mods are no longer moderating threads on the BSN?
The only for certain is............Lots of speculation for everyone..........

Not only that, but almost all of the people who remain active on sites like HTL and Retake are the people who are still "holding the line" for completely changed endings, like omitting Star Child and whatnot completely (which they're delusional if they ever thought that was actually going to happen; some people legitimately liked the ending), so they know that if they go with IT, the endings aren't going to change, because they're already set up perfectly for IT.

A lot of people stopped being active once they announced the EC, because let's face it, we're not going to get more than that, and some people are rational and willing to wait for EC to come out before sending death threats to Bioware's HQ. On the same coin, the poll would be skewed if it were on BSN as well, only the people voting "no" would be much more marginal. We have a few IT polls that are in the 80-90% range in favor of IT already, so that's probably another reason they aren't asking it here. We've already got the data. Over 2/3 in favor is a pretty huge majority anyway -- it's over twice as many in favor as opposed to against.
