Let us assume that Claudia Black is probably a good person with some common traits such as compassion. Let us assume further that Morrigan and Claudia Black would meet and have a conversation.

Claudia: "Hi, my name is Claudia, pleased to meet you!"
Morrigan: "You mimic my voice? If that is your sense of humor, then I suggest you stop trying to be funny."
(Morrigan disapproves -10)
Claudia: "Well.. acually.. you are speaking with my voice, I lent it to you, so to speak. No reason to be upset."

Claudia is nice, but she isn't stupid. She'd probably shoot Morrigan with Wynona, which she stole from Crichton.

Claudia wouldn't need to shoot Morrigan. Claudia would simply stare her down with the might of her awesomeness.



On a serious note, Claudia did do a LOT of hand to hand training for Farscape, but I don't know if she kept up with it. It would depend on whether or not she could get to Morrigan before Morrigan could freeze her.

Hehehe. Been watching the DVDs (and commentaries) lately (just finished a few episodes, to be exact), and she usually indicates that she's not so savvy real life combat-wise.

I'm a fan of her and Farscape, but as a practitioner, I found myself wincing at some of the stuff done in some episodes.

In a straight fight? 1 vs. 1? Morrigan, I guess.
BUT if you include the number of fans behind Claudia Black...my money's on Black (if even just a tenth of those fans have guns... ). That and she should be able to figure out a P90 by now...

In the one commentary gothammer where she talks about having to have a sparring match with that one chica, it is HYSTERICAL where's talking about how she has no idea what she's doing and completely made up the stance and how she probably looks like an idiot. Later on down the series, though, particularly for The Peacekeeper Wars, she got some actual trainng.

All the commentaries I've watched so far w/ Black and Browder have been hysterical.

Yup. It does kinda show that she 'improves'. I did like the pace of the scene where Aeryn was introduced, tho' (where she subdued Crichton), it's just that some scenes (like the sparring session) were rather funny.
Now I gotta re-watch PKW (I'm nearly done w/ season 2 ...just finished 'The Locket' commentary ).
