Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I have ME: I on my phone and can play it quite dandy. But on my tablet (Acer Iconia 510) it says "not compatible" on the playstore.

The problem is, I found a review of the game which said the game was played on that tablet. So, what could be the issue?

You can force it to run on any powerful enough Android phone/tablet, but you have to root the tablet, change its name in system files (sorry, I don't remember the name of the file now, but Google will help) to supported one, and register it as a new device on Google Play. I did it for my Samsung Galaxy 10.1, which is not supported for reasons unknown, and finished the game on it. I have used device and manufacturer name from Motorola RAZR (because it run on it).

When will this game be compatible with the HTC One?? Recently upgraded and was excited to play it on there only to find it isn't compatible but Dead Space was (even though that game is older and also developed by the same studio?!)

 Since it was released more a year than ago I doubt we'll see any updates, but I would be really happy to see this available on the Kindle Fire HD

This sucks, I downloaded ME Infiltrator for my Droid 3 when it first came out and it worked ok with pretty good frame rate, not great, but it was still playable. I then downloaded the update as soon as the patch came out and as soon as I loaded the game it was unplayable. It freezes at random places. Does anyone know if Dead Space will have the same issue on the Droid 3? Otherwise I don't want to waste my money again. Does anyone have a fix for the Droid 3 or am I out of luck and out 7 bucks?

It's a shame that I had to provide much of my own tech support for this product. EA's assistance ended up offering a refund instead of helping me.

I was able to install the downloader, but the downloader would only give a server error and let me quit the application no matter how I attempted to connect to the Internet.

I hope this helps others with this issue. I understand that this can work for devices that are officially "unsupported" and having other problems launching the application, but don't expect any support if it doesn't work.

• Attempt to install the application from the Google Play store (or your service provider) and launch it.
  
• Let it give an error and quit.
  
• Find an installation on an Android device that uses the same (or very similar) chipset. Copying files from just any Android device will not work. (EA failed to mention this.)
  
• Copy the folder "[device storage]Androiddatacom.ea.games.meinfiltrator_na" (for North America) from their device to your device's folder of the same name. (This is the only thing EA told me.) Many new files will be added and some will be over-written. If you get errors about copying files to locations that do not exist or are locked, restart your device. (Soft-shutdown and start should be fine.)
  
• Delete the file [Device Storage]"Androiddatacom.ea.games.meinfiltrator_napublisheddatadynamic_text.prefabs.sb" to clear all device-specific information. (EA also failed to mention this important step.)
  
• You should be able to launch the game now. (The EA logo may still take a few moments longer than one might be comfortable waiting.)
  
• You will need to connect Origin once you are in the game if you want your war assets updated. Touch the little orange swirly (supposed to look like a galaxy - go fig - looks more like a meteorologic hurricane icon to me) to set up Origin in the application. You should not need to do this again.

you need be aware that shield needs coding to work. dev side. so. unless they wana update. i doubt youll see it.

Just wanted to say I played the game a few weeks ago in my galaxy note: It was nice but short.
Too bad the story will probably never have a sequel... game or otherwise(like a comic book)
