Hopefully they'll add physical controls for the Xperia Play. The game is graphically good and the design and concept are fine, but sometimes it's hard to control cover with touch controls. Ideally you should be able to use the d-pad or track pad to move, the face buttons to use powers, and the touch screen to aim. That's the setup I prefer in Modern Combat, Rainbow Six and N.O.V.A, anyway.

Similar thing happend with Dead Space. The version provided by Sony (it was some Sony Ericsson promo during christmas) was fully supporting Xperial PLAY gamepad. Unfortunatelly due some incident I had to change phone for another one (still Xperia Play) and my licence was locked on the previous one. So I bought version from Google Play and it's NOT supporting Gamepad. Why? Posted Image

And now I hear that Infiltrator has the same issue even it's running on the same engine. I will probably wait for promoaction when this game will be in promo sale for 1$ as was Dead Space.

No Xperia PLAY gamepad support = No buy for a full price

I got it for the droid razr, it's pretty good. I find the touch-based controls take some time to get used to, some definite rage-quitting on X1. A lot of cool potential in the ME universe though.

Would rather spend the money to play this on my PC over my Sony X10.

Just tried to buy the game, only to be told my tablet is incompatable. I'm using a CloudNine Neuropad 2 with the latest version of Andriod 4 and no luck.

Permissions: "read contact data"

Right. Is there a specific non-spyware related reason for this ?

@ Malal Belakor - Good question though not pressing.

Works on EVO 3D.

Keeps freezing on the final boss/fight lmao<_<

Hey - You guys need to update the summary for Infiltrator in the online Galaxy at War tally page. It just calls it "iPad app" which is kind of a stinker, and a little misleading.

Works nicely on Samsung Galaxy S2 with ICS 4.03 in sweden :) I'd say it has one of the better controls in a mobile fpsish game too, compared to alot of other similar games on mobiles.

Am I imagining things or did the price drop $2?

Seems it was $6.99 and it now lists for $4.99?

I would be very mad if it had been compatible for my EVO and bought it on day 1 like I wanted only to have the price drop.

What's up BW/EA?

So was it a good game?

Infiltrator. Did anyone like that game?

Can you recommend it?

Not compatible with my Nexus S despite it having android 4.0.4.

I've heard a wide variety of phones with similar issues.

I'd buy this if I was sure it would work on the Kindle Fire, but I'm not willing to take a chance until it's officially listed in Amazon's app's store due to the widespread incompatibility with other Android devices.

Jesus Christ... Galaxy S has a bit better hardware than iPhone 4, and for sure its more powerfull than antique iPhone 3GS. Both devices got "Infiltrator" And? After months of waiting they released "Infiltrator" for Android and its not compatibile with my Galaxy S !!! Poor ending of ME3 was nothing compared to my frustration now :/

I hear ya dude, my samsung galaxy 10.1 is awesome but NOT COMPATABLE. *scratches head.

Says it need Android 2.2 or better, but is incompatible with my Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Android 3.2?

Release not very well executed, good old EA style!

Seems like the mantra "Time to market" undermines ALL EA does.

WISH WE COULD GET SOME FREAKING ANSWERS AS TO WHY THIS PRODUCT SEEMS TO BE INCOMPATABLE WITH SOO MANY DEVICES. I understand the android market includes a crap storm of various devices to tailor the game to but at least start by ensuring its compatable with those in the market who actually care to play graphically heavy games like, uh, those who own tablets!

This is how the development process works. They port it to android, then make it compatible with the most popular devices and release it, then they work on compatibility with more devices. This is how it is with basically every complex app. If they had waited until they had universal compatibility, nobody would have had the game for a couple more months. But since they released it now, they get an inflow of cash from the new customers that can maybe help things along.

I figured as much, just hope they reach the tablet market in a timely manner.  Either way, I havent even finished the campaign yet, so I dont really know how much additional war assets gained from playing infiltrator will make a difference.
