Bioware did that, not the fans. The in-game model looks nothing like the one people voted for. It looks like a rush job. They probably didn't think that it was worth the effort to do a more aesthetically pleasing model and put the current in-game model there just to silence those who were asking for more acknowledgment of femshep.

What I don't understand is why they decided to do a beauty contest. I thought artistic integrity was important to them...

Hellosanta did the remodel. I'm assuming you need gibbed to transfer the headmorph.

LOL, I agree, from the front default female Shepard looks okay, but from the side it is a little odd. I think BioWare should fix it so she looks more like the artwork of female Shepard on the game case or the game trailer. Male Shepard looks really good, in the trailers and the game. Looks exactly what the real model they used for him. If the woman they modeled female Shepard from looks like Shepard in game then... lol

Hell, it is still better than my custom imports from Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. They do not import into Mass Effect 3 at all. Looks nothing remotely like my Shep from ME1 and 2.

I bet they did that on purpose to get people to pick the default femshep. Who knows.

That looks amazing. I really like that, she has more of a badass look to her than the current default femshep.

If people can mod ME3 then BioWare could fix it too with a patch. Thing is it would be a super easy code re-write too.

its sad really. she looked so awesome on the cover but was sorely dissapointed with the in-game model. thank god for custom shep

I always customize mine up but this one here.  Not a neanderthal!
