And MMO's are dull as well.
And If EA can't get a star wars MMO to work, no way in hell will they be able to get a ME one to. I'mm all for them trying though, I hope it'll be another money sink, and within a few years, EA goes bust.

Because Bioware couldn't find a way out of this mess with two maps and a Sherpa to guide them.
This, they have lost/loosing their primary fan base and they are the people who would buy an MMO!

Exactly. ME MMO will be just the same game with different lore.

2. Because swtor is a joke.
Strongly disagree here. I've enjoyed the sith warrior and smuggler story and sith inquisitor had its moments. I plan to do some pvp eventually. Its not wow. Its better than wow in many areas and worse in others. I like story and after 6 years of competative play in wow, I don't care as much about end game ranking etc.
So Im enjoying swtor and find the stories much more interesting than afking in stormwind or the broken cata lore that is filled in through books.
All that said, I don't think we need a mass effect MMO.

It IS wow. ALL the abilities have exact or near-exact counterparts in WoW. Look at the Sith Inquisitor for example. Wrath, Whirlwind, Chain Lightning, Heal, Greater Heal. Sounds like Balance Druid + Elemental Shaman to me. The other races are the same.

Even if BioWare retcons the ME3 ending and redeems themselves, this whole ending debacle has hurt them in more ways than one. To keep a MMO successful need lots of people to play and if I am guessing right there wouldn't be and the lack of money needed to maintain a MMO just wouldn't be there to keep it active for the long haul. I would be kind enough to say somthething like that would last maybe a couple years, maybe that is giving them too much credit, but still...
Now, I am not saying I would like to see more Mass Effect content, but if and this is a big if. If they do, I would like to see somthing based prior to the Reapers maybe things leading up to the First Contact Wars with the humans and turians, or even a game based arround the leading up to the Scillian Blitz.
My overall opinion is BioWare should stop with Mass Effect franchise and create somthing new and fresh, something that gives the umph that Mass Effect 1 had. They can stay on course with a Science Fiction Fantasy aspects but I would like to see BioWare do somthing new and original. They have the tallent, tools and man power to do so. They have it in them. But that is just me.
