Why would you post something that is actively making fun of not just me but those who lost their jobs in Austin?

I live in TX,45 minutes from Austin. People losing their jobs sucks no matter where they are but I hope it wasn't to innocent bystanders.

Seriously? (Reddit and 4chan aren't too surprising)

It's great Stanely decided to stay. At the same time it's like a sales man who get's promoted or shipped to another place but still hang's around the old office telling jokes with men he used to work with. I suppose it might bring of sense of attachment modding these forums even though left/fired.

Some people here are a bit bitter what he may or may not have done to them. I think he's a good person just get's too much hate from the internet sometimes. I think Stanely has been the most active with the community. I see his name on most of the closed threads.

I'm curious what gaming place will he move on next. With the jobs the way the are. Not exactly hiring people right away. Not many games in producion.

I've been doing the same job for four and a half years and I hate it with every fiber of my being. But with two mouths to feed at home, you're stuck. I envy you, Mr Woo.

Are you kidding? Between social games, Kickstarter, mobile apps, indie games, and smaller studios, there have never been more games in production, in my opinion! :P

Besides QA, what interests you in gaming now? Writing? Design?

There's quite a lot of game companies hiring right now, actually.

I'm not really interested in QA anymore. It was great for the last 11 years, but at heart I am an artist and I feel the need to create, so I'd be more interested in writing and design. Character concepts, story plotting, setting creation, naming and language, even things as far afield as voice direction and editing. At the moment, however, I'm enjoying my unemployment.

Like yourself, I miss the people; not the work. Pls keep yourself upbeat.
