Hi all, I just finished DA2.
During the meeting with King Alistair, he mentioned that he should get back to Ferelden since the Warden was coming back. But then at the end of the game, the Seekers mentioned the Champion vanished, just like the Warden. So what's up with that?
Did the warden come back?

The conversation between Varric and Cassandra takes place some time after the events of Act 3. Thus far, the reasons behind the mysterious disappearance of both the Champion and the Warden have yet to be revealed - whether their departures were intentional or via suspicious circumstances, etc. Plenty of speculation abounds though. Perhaps we'll get a few details in the next installment of the franchise.

Also Alistair would probably know a little more about the Warden's whereabouts than the Chantry.

The Warden contacted Hawke to help with tracking down Flemeth, who then ate them both. She'll return in DA3 wearing armor crafted from their bones.
