 I just thought about this. Medigel is made for organics, why does EDI recover when I use it? Was she pretending to be dead?

Medigel also "heals" shields since ME2. It just does because...gameplay. ;)

Oh and better brace yourself..."spacemagic" and "artistic integrity" posts incoming. :pinched:

Gameplay reasons, obviously. It worked on Legion in ME2 as well.

It did the same thing with Legion in ME2.

When you use medi-gel on EDI (or Legion) you're actually converting medi-gel to omni-gel.

Yes, I know this idea is full of holes. Just... shush.

Yea, I forgot about 'ol Legion. It just didn't register while I was playing 2, I guess. A better idea would've been to have the synthetic characters be much more durable, but can only recover if the fight ends.

As has been pointed out, it works on many other non-organic things.

How about we leave OP to speculate a little more on it? Think how happy he'll be.

Duh. Medigel fixes everything. It's like duct tape. They just gave it a little omni-gel kick between ME1 and ME2.

;)

Might as well ask why you still talk to EDI via comm when she's standing right next to you....

On the geth in the multiplayer too. Even the defibrillator works on them.

Doesn't that happen when you're on missions where there's no atmosphere?

If so, that's just Bioware paying attention to detail. Sound doesn't travel through a vacuum. However, since EDI doesn't need to breath, her physical body's not wearing a suit - or any kind of a communicator.

I would give them credit for that were it not for the "breathing masks" that some crew members love to sport.

Ah yes, Liara's breathing mask and it's inability to protect against the decompression of space.

We have dismissed such claims.

If I was designing her I'd put the comm on the inside anyway.

As for the topic -- it's not like the way medi-gel works on organics makes any sense either.

Gee, healing in a video game isn't completely realistic.

That has never, ever, been done before.

Ok first off let me say I have a degree in astrophysics and hair care from the The Norwegian University Of Mathematics and Truck Repair so I know what I'm talking about. The reason medi-gel works on EDI is due the the number of protons to electrons in the gel its self and when applied it repairs the electrical circuits in her body and that is how it works. The more you know.

Medi-Gel is just space WD40, it fixes ALL the things.

How do you 'revive' a Geth in MP? Do you hotwire it or something?
