I believe that entire Stargazer scene is actually
complete fiction, and Bioware is actually speaking directly to the player, hinting that there is more to come. I think it makes a lot of sense, and makes even more sense when you consider that you only get the Stargazer scene if you've imported a save or played through the game more than once, meaning the Mass Effect story is of some significant importance to you.
Before you say "Fiction within fiction? lolwut Blasto the Hanar Spectre?

"
Allow me to explain.
Kid (
representing the player): Did that all really happen?
- (Is that really the ending?)
Stargazer (
representing Bioware): Yes, but some of the details have been lost in time
- (The details are coming, but they will take some time)
- or
- (There were some things (missions, quests, divergence etc) we couldn't implement because of time constraints) - suggested by MegumiAzusa
Kid: When can I go to the stars?
- (When is the real ending/dlc coming?)
Stargazer: One day my sweet.
Kid: What will be there?
- (What will be in the DLC?)
Stargazer: Anything you can imagine!
- (We'll take your feedback into account)
Stargazer: ...and every life is a special story of its own
- (everyone's story will be wrapped up when we're done)
Kid: Tell me another story about the Shepard
- (Tell me what happens to my Shepard!)
Stargazer: It's getting late but, okay, one more story... (

)
Bioware, if I'm right about this, please confirm it by saying nothing at all in this topic.... <_<
