I really believe Chris needs to start posting the fact you get 1 and only 1 per weekend in the primer post.  This is funny that every week, someone always brings this up, like they either just joined or forgot since the last event.

 This goes back to my previous post, when I said last weekend, I meant last event. Which last event each Full Extraction on Gold was another Commendation pack. It'd be nice to have clarification but given the fact that the squad is also the community goal we should probably tell people you do get a commendation pack every 3, to inspire participation.

I find it odd folks have already maxed all their rare weapons, there's still 1 or 2 that refuse to unlock for me no matter how many packs I bought (like the Geth SMG).

Admittedly, I'm going to be saving my credits now for the Rebellion Pack so I can spam packs in the hopes of unlocking something. I -still- don't have my Batarian Sentinel.

Awesome. I think it's kind of funny that losing the event means more fun than winning it would've lol I'll take random Banshee spawns. That sounds like fun. Too many people zone out when they're fighting Cerberus or doing FBWGG matches.

Totally unnecessary, nobody receives nothing so only the support give the packs.
They were not able to fix the disturbing, annoying noise of the reave yet always.
Somebody explains it though the squad goal because I do not understand it, that how achievable...

I don't think you're ever supposed to get more than one Commendation Pack.  If you did then you probably had glitched rewards.  You are the only person I've seen on these boards mention getting multiple Commendation Packs (unless it was in reference to a glitch/exploit from Operation Raptor, or was it Goliath?).  Can anyone else say anything about this?  Meaning: did anyone else get multiple packs?

EDIT: I notice you're on PS3, so I guess this is a question (above) for PS3 players.

I think you misread the post above you. He/She didnt say that they had gotten a pack for each gold full extraction

Since he's a PS3 player he might have received 1 or 2 other commendation packs for the earlier opertions in which the PS3 players weren't included and were finally recently rewarded for their participation.

Anybody notice how the goal last time was impossibly high (3 million banshees) and this time it's incredibly low? This is a ratio of 60 Banshee kills to 1 promotion, and there are tons of people who have at least one character ready to promote as is.
I wouldn't be surprised if BW's stats show 50k promotions occurring every weekend anyways. They're definitely soft-serving this one to us.

OTOH, kudos on the Banshees appearing with other enemies-- that part sounds pretty fun. It seems like a good indicator that we're going to see some escalation both in player ability (i.e. new permanent equipment slot) and probably more creative ways to escalate difficulty as well.

No. As mentioned in the blog post blog.bioware.com/2012/05/23/operation-shieldwall/, PlayStation 3 users will not see the promotion screen. Ah well, I'll just wait  till after the time by half an hour or so, and then I'll start promoting my 3 classes that are already at level 20.
