Seriously, it's been said before but no one's addressed this problem: this is Memorial Day Weekend in the U.S. Plenty of players, myself included will be traveling for the duration of this event. Any chance we could extend the deadline? It just kinda stinks, because I have five characters prepped for promotion, and I'd hate to miss out on this.

What time does it start? They usually post pacific start/end times (I'm on the east coast). Don't want to promote if it's not "live."

 I can't seem to find the post that said it, I guess it got retracted? It was originally that PS3 users got 2 for the unwinnable events and also anyone who got gold extraction would get a commendation pack each time, but I just searched and the same event post says nothing but nothing. :x So yeah one only. My mistake.

Quick question, and I don't feel like sifting through the whole thread for such a specific topic. The Squad goal is to "promote 3 characters". Now, is that 3 made characters, or 3 classes with many characters in a given class? Simlpy: Can I promote my soldier class, which has 5 made characters, and get it? Or do I have to promote 3 separate classes, like Soldier, Adept and Vanguard?

It's three seperate classes man, and I wouldnt do it just yet, I am not sure if it has officially started.

Its not difficult...
Just promote any THREE characters whilst the event is on.....

Would each person need to promote three classes or would that be to promote one class in a full squad? This can be played on any challege, correct?

It's three seperate classes man, and I wouldnt do it just yet, I am not sure if it has officially started.

Do all players get the victory pack if the challenge is accomplished or only the players that got the squad goal success?
Can you promote the same class 3 times and getthe squad goal?

The victory pack is awarded to ALL players if the goal is met.

Admittedly, I'm going to be saving my credits now for the Rebellion Pack so I can spam packs in the hopes of unlocking something. I -still- don't have my Batarian Sentinel.

Talk about it dude. I have been playing for 2 months and still havent gotten the Mattock 1.  Snagged an Indra and a Hurricane but I am still missing some of the basics and thats with spending like 40 bucks of real world mone like an artard. Go figure hopefully these Com and victory packs will fix that problem. Maybe even finally score some capacity upgrades.

You don't even need to be in a party to do this, just go into your character screen and promote three different classes and you will get your ultra rare pack. The other one is if 50k promotions TOTAL across all platforms then we get the crap pack that may have a rare.

The one you want is the 3 promotion pack so make sure you do it cause thats how you will get yor N7 weapon!!!

I think Mattock is only uncommon "silver card", not being rare "gold card" means you'll get them more likely in Veteran Packs than Spectre.

This won't work.  You, yourself, individually, have to promote three classes.
