Who knows? So far I've seen the following "start times" for this event: 5:00 pm PST, 6:00 pm PT, 6:00 pm EST, 6:00 pm CST, 6 pm GST, 6 pm BST.  To make it worse, now you have some people saying it started early, while others are claiming it did not start early.

In other words, people are confused about the start time.  The blog says 6 pm PT, whatever that is, so I'm assuming it's pacific time and waiting until then.  I don't know why it's so hard to communicate a clear and consistent start time for these events.

That probably means 6pm Pacific Time which is in 5 minutes. Judging by the post above it may be rolling out right now.

Hmm... Chris posted in a thread 5 PM PST and I waited to promote then even though the event screen showed up way early. Regardless I'll promote at least three more times before event is over

Why promote right away? Do you get your Commendation Pack instantly or do you have to wait until the event is over?

I can confrim this.  Last operation I played well before the listed 6pm start time, but after I go tthe message; only 1 match, on Friday afternoon @~415pm. I got the comm pack.

Everything is going ok at my end. The only thing I didn't like is that it resetted my colors.on the characters .

I want the colors on my GI reset, since the unique look on the secondary isn't able to be replicated once its changed. WELL, time to promote.

Are you talking about the first Dune book? (I only read the first one).

Huh?  Of course you can recreate any color setup you made.  Just...pick the same colors?

Yeah. Just promoted 4 myself. The others are at 18 & 19, so they'll follow shortly.

Should work, I'm aiming for 7 promotions this weekend (3 more to go).
