True, but you're guaranteed 2 rares which means you can possibly get 2 weapon unlocks with your current state of affairs. Heck, back before I unlocked everything except for ultra rares I once got 2 rare weapons and an uncommon weapon unlock.

Well, it should be... But my last 99k pack (surprise surprise) had no rare weapons inside, only a character and a level V component... Very sad :/
I am not lucky with the rare/ultrarare weapons..

The blog post says Sunday, but the Phantoms are still spawning, so maybe it was a typo? I've tweeted the ME account to ask. Would be great for me as I am in Aus and only 3 lvls away from my third promotion.

I suggest you guys play and promote tonight anyway.  When they hand out commendation packs wed or whatever, just do a text chat with EA service and tell them you didn't know the promotion only went until Sunday.  They'll hand out a pack no questions if you tell them you think you should have gotten one.

They announced this a week ago. It says on the website and on the screen when you log in at the beginning of the event when it's over. Do you not read? And why are we assuming it's going longer just because they are leaving the banshees in as though it's impossible that that could be a permanent side effect of us failing? I think that's awesome. Everytime we fail there is some result and the only way it's cleared away is by winning. I'll be disappointed if that's not the case.

I have it on good authority that the Phantoms will still be spawning tomorrow too, and even on Tuesday.

How about the title of this thread? May not give the time but it still ensures that it doesn't last till Monday. That being said, it's a holiday weekend for US Americans, and a pretty big one at that. Of all weekends I don't knowwhay they would shorten this one unless they just don't wantto work tomorrow. But even that doesn't make sense since it's not like they are sitting around doing anything special. I don't care. I had 5 characters ready to promote at the start of the event.

If we go by the title then it should have ran untill midnight at least. Which I would have been fine with, but would still like to know why this event was so short.

I dont know why everyone said this event was so hard. I logged in to my account on Saturday, promoted my Asari, Engineer and Infiltrator and then logged out and drank some more beer in the sun. Easiest event ever!

My guess is they need some extra time to roll out the Renegade pack on Tuesday.  In any case, I think what Bioware primarily wants is for people to play the game and put hours in it.  With as much confusion as there is, I suggest anyone who hasn't done so already (if you have the time, of course) work on promoting the rest of your characters, and if you don't get it come Wednesday, just call them up and explain the issue.

Don't recall either. But you can find images of previous ones online. The last says May 11 to May 13, no mention of times. The one before that says April 27 to April 29, no mention of times. Seems like the only way you would have been aware is if you read the blog post.  Maybe if they realize there was enough confusion over it they'll do something about it.

Exactly did the same thing (i mean promotes and beer;)
