1: MIGHT appear with other enemies, I had two banshee's every match, no matter what enemy.
2: I think I may have screwed up, did you have to promote with your crew, or could you just promote chars anytime. I promoted 4 chars this weekend.

The BioWare blog on the main site was very clear:
Not everyone thinks to check the blog. Before you start blaming everyone else for not checking, consider just how long it would take for them to mention the start and end times in the posts they make on the forums, or to add a link to the blog itself.

Just a question... Why so many people
didn't want to promote their characters, and didn't want to have their
N7 level grow up? What happens if the N7 level grow?
Apart from showing people how much time you've committed to multiplayer, the N7 level doesn't mean much at all.

I played more 5-6 matches today (Gold and Silver) and the Banshees continue to appear even though the weekend operation is over.mightysasquatch wrote...
Just had a banshee on condor with the geth...
Not an issue, anyway. It is making matches fun.
Just for the sake of curiosity: Will the Banshees appear until the outcome of the weekend operation is released or did they become a permanent presence?

Well it's the only place I've ever gone to get the info, so I don't get the fuss.

The BioWare blog on the main site was very clear:
http://blog.bioware....ion-shieldwall/
"Welcome to the next N7 Weekend Operation, Operation SHIELDWALL, beginning this Friday, May 25 at 6:00PM PT until Sunday, May 27 at 5:00PM PT, on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC."
Blaming BioWare for not reading the information is like missing extraction because BioWare gave you too many enemies to shoot.
I think the timing has something to do with the pack and Rebellion releases...
I'm waiting for the next complaint posts on Tuesday along the lines of: 'I just spent 6,000,000 credits and the Rebellion characters are not available yet. That sucks and it's all BioWare's fault." I do hope people will check that that the characters are available before doing that.
Agreed, but what about the people that read it in-game? did it say the same thing there? because I don't recalll it, but I don't think it did, one assumes that a great number of the players read it in-game.

This one assumes that a great number of players don't read.

Ok folks,
After a quick investigation I discovered that, yes, the event was scheduled to go until midnight mountain time.
Any
characters promoted after the 17:00 (5pm) posted time up to the actual
midnight deadline will have those characters counted towards their
total.
Cheers!

So, event is officially OVER, but anyone that promoted after the 5pm PST deadline but before midnight PST will still have those promotions counted towards their squad goal.
EDIT: Got ninja'ed.

2 minutes?
It was posted less than a minute before me, according to the forum counter when I looked between the two posts after mine went up. We essentially posted at the same time (or, actually, they posted whilst I was still on the "post creation" screen).
