I recently heard that the packs will be out this afternoon. The dlc came out on Tuesday, the commendation packs on Wednesday, and the patch comes out Thursday.

Judging by the last couple Operations, we should be watching all possible bioware individual twitters, along with the blog.  BSN will (maybe) get updated on this a day or so after that...

Think he's talking about Bioware continually being unable to deliver the rewards on time without issues...

I believe PDesign was referring to their apparent inability to:
A) get packs out in a timely manner
B) inform us of, well, anything in a timely manner post-Operation (success/failure? pack ETA? anything?)

On a side note, based on your user name, I have to ask: Kaif al-haal?

I have to admit, I think it would be a pretty easy thing for Bioware to give some note on any of the available social media options they have relative to the success of given operations.

I'm sure they knew the answer before Wednesday afternoon and I think folks just really want to hear some indication of Operation Success/Fail

Most of the kids are in school. Once it gets around 3:00 pm EST, the pack moaning will spike.

I've noticed that when we had an op every week, we received packs starting at 5:30 pm PST the following Tuesday (provided no glitches/exploits). When PS3 was added and the events became biweekly, we usually don't receive word until Wednesday evening or Thursday, with the packs being released the next day.

I do think they need to communicate with the community a bit better though on just about every matter. The fact that we haven't had anyone from the actual mp team talk to us about the issues we've been experiencing in months is just wrong IMO.

Re: Operation SHIELDWALL

Confidentiality classification: XB-PRIME

Distribution: N7 Forces Only

Soldiers of the Milky Way –

It will relieve many of you to know that Operation SHIELDWALL bought us the time we needed to get our reinforcements to the front. The most numerous of these are the vorcha, literally the galaxy’s most adaptable species. We’ve subjected vorcha to high pressures so they can survive on Irune, clubbed them to simulate a husk’s flailing, and even shot them so that their bodies learn to heal trauma. Fighting is a way of life to the vorcha. Right now, they are just what this galaxy needs.

Integrating so many vorcha has not been easy, and it is here that we must note the quarian contribution. Many quarians on their Pilgrimage actually refused the summons of the Migrant Fleet in order to serve against the Reapers. We assigned them the task of educating the vorcha in combined-arms operations against mechs and hardened targets. This came at great personal risk, since the vorcha’s style of “communication” often includes claws—the last thing a quarian in an envirosuit needs.

There is no better time to aim these warriors at the enemy. A Cerberus military outpost code-named Project Phoenix has defected to the Alliance in full, bringing with them inestimably valuable intelligence. Their project director said that, when he looked at Cerberus, he saw its ugly past: a long string of blackmail and assassination. When he looked at the Alliance, coordinating races from all corners of the galaxy to stop the Reapers, he saw the future.

Couldn’t have put it better myself.

--Admiral Hackett

Victory Packs are on their way now. Commendation Packs will come this afternoon. Well done. :)
