How about five times in a row? I fear that for any and all operations I will never, ever properly be granted with my commendation packs. I've taken steps to ensure that what I can do on my end has been done - feedback has consistently been on, updates, installation repair, etc... nothing. EA Live Chat every op weekend is a regular affair for me.

If anyone else is in the same situation as me do kindly sound off.

I didn't see my commendation pack (on Xbox 360).
Did they release it on Xbox yet?
If the answer is yes I suppose I'll have to contact EA support.....

I have the same problem and several user suggested me help.ea.com
However I'm unable to complete the login procedure and I get a "Sorry, this service is temporary unavailable." message.

11.30am GMT - Still no comm pack.

Opened a 'case' by emailing EA Support. Only other option in the UK is for me to call them and pay for the call. Yeah, like that's going to happen (salt and wound, etc). I'll report back here with progress, in case it's any help to others...

Bioware: You should be ashamed of yourselves. You're already skating on incredibly thin ice over failing massively to deliver on your promises with regards to the ending in SP. Now you can't even deliver a simple MP reward pack that you promise, leaving some your customers with the additional irritation of having to contact EA support to try to get it...

Sorry. But this is not impressive. Not in the slightest.

I actually mailed them this time and got a response within 20 minutes. Using US support of course. Don't contact your own country's support unless it's something specific for your country like Origin store payments or country specific deals.

Everyones been moaning about EA for the last 10 years but nothing ever changes. Remember Battlefield Bad Company?! You bought the game and played MP and then realised that 5 weapons that were on a disc you purchased were locked unless you paid more money to unlock them! Dice sold their soul, Bioware sold their soul. All the good devs end up being sucked into the giant black hole of greed. I even tried to boycott them once but it now seems that pretty much every game out there has an EA label on it.

Nothing will change so whats the point in moaning.

The best thing to do is to contact them via Origin and talk to someone. No, the person's first language isn't always English, but it gets the job done.

My favorite part of all of this is that their chat software was broken today. I'm contacting them to tell them that their game is broken, and I get cut off because their support software is broken.

Yay.

17 mins after opening a case with EA support, they add the pack.

Commendation Pack (expires in 91 hours 56 minutes). Contains a Crusader 1, which is perfect, since I never use shotguns... Hey ho...

Anyway:

EA support + 10
Bioware support - 100

Moaning == complaining.

The point in complaining is to show companies that we're not happy with being shovelled mediocrity, and I will continue to complain as long as companies do that.

It's a point of principle that I will not deviate from.

Who can I get support from? Tried EA.com but I currently can't log in there due to the service being unavailable. What a load of hassle for something that should not have been any hassle at all.One of the 3 characters I promoted at the weekend was the first character I created in multiplayer...farewell old friend, your sacrifice went unnoticed. :)

I did live chat with EA support and in a couple minutes I had my pack.. 3 events in a row, 3 hurricane's in a row... bleh... oh well at least I use the gun but hoped for something different.

Promoted 6 characters over the weekend and didn't get my commendation pack... I tried to contact EA support but it won't recognise my username or password... Does anyone know if I need to make another account to email them? I assumed that I was using my EA account to sign into this shindig.
I'm in Australia, so if anyone has had the same problem resolved perhaps you could share your solution with me.

I used my existing origin login when the origin window popped up and it worked for me.

I had the Origin login panel just sit there twiddling its thumbs when trying to log in. However, browser-back/browser-forward at that point resulted in me actually being logged in, so it did work. It just seemed to get stuck on the login panel.

lol I feel like such a nerd demanding virtual items, but EA live chat was delightful, I had a lovely conversation with Satya and she promptly gave me a Valiant. Is it outsourced to India by any chance?
