This is awesome. Very awesome. Seeing a Banshee spawn along with phantoms should be a challenge. It also seems they took the random event idea, that one of the threads was about.

Arrrgh bioware caught me now i have to contribute to community goal lol this operation is a shoe in for sure. I like how theyre adapting to the community to. Maybe in the next op or shortly thereafter there will be something tailored to those of us who have all our rares but for now this is pretty awesome. Nice step in the right direction BW

Meh.  Don't care enough to promote.  What's the point?  Ooooh, a victory pack.  Color me full of care.  No.  I don't care.  Promoting isn't really an "event weekend".  No real "goal".  Hit a button from your squad menu without actually playing the game!  Woo!  No.  MP needs something new to keep fresh, you know, like some vorcha and protheans and weapons.

Not goofy promotion "events" that are pointless.

At least "kill X number of Y" events are *something* to do.  Promoting isn't.

Banshees with all enemies makes it interesting.

I don't see the point of promoting characters - what challenge is that?

However, Banshees hanging around with Geth and Cerb should be great!

Victory pack will be given on Thuesday and will be in store for a week. Just wait untill Rebellion DLC released and use your pack.

Basically, you yourself have to promote 3 characters in order to receive the commendation pack. They did a similar one to this a few operations ago.

Once again Bioware, how is your definition of "soon" these days? The extinction of the dinosaurs was rather recent and the days when conventional intergalactic travel is rather soon when you look at things from an origin point of view, and I'm sure your defintion of "soon" is a lot different to ours.

Either way, as I've previously stated (and made as a bet), if there's no trailer and/or release date by friday at 4:30PM GMT, then I don't care what you do as I will have left the community permanently and will be drifting through the spaces of alternative games. I'm a man of my word, so seeing as I bet it, I won't back out. Not that I actually want to never play a ME game again, but a bet's a bet.

To you, maybe.  To me, it's just another thing in the crosshairs that I've seen hundreds of times.  Not interesting enough to care.  MP could also stand to have a new enemy type.

Was hoping to have some new characters to shoot for/new weapons to unlock and level for this weekend.  Nope.  Just continue to play just enough to 100% my readiness every night.

Sounds like:

25-27 May - Promote three of your character classes.
Tada !

5 minute task - Hurricane IV (in my case)

(longer of course if all classes are level 1 - that would be c. 60 Bronze, 30 Silver or 15 Gold games)

Does characters already at lvl 20 before operations count? If so then I have 2 characters already with 3 at lvl 19.

LOL! I promoted all 6 of my characters 3 days ago. They're all level 20 now, thanks to character cards.
