Thanks for the reply. I promoted 3 characters already and working on a fourth before the event is over. i will successfully contribute to 0.008% of this event.

I have four characters with that class.

If I promote it, will that be enough?

Or is it three classes not characters that need promoting?

I have promoted my three + one more a moment ago to make up for yours.

Managed to play for six straight hours yesterday and promoted a Sentinel, Engineer, and Adept. Good community. I enjoyed it, though I normally prefer single player to MP.

I promoted Soldier, Vanguard and Infiltrator today. I hope we get this one. The last event was a bit ambitious, but this one should be "easy".

I love Operation Shieldwall!!! I hope BioWare mixes up the enemies all the time. I played a gold match against Cerberus and had four Phantoms and two Banshees on screen at the same time. Intense!!!

Promoted Infiltrator, Adept and Vanguard on PC this weekend, so far Adept on PS3 and working on Engineer and Infiltrator. Banshees appearing in other groups is freaky, specially when got  phantoms with them

Then Gold Vs reaper. 5 Brutes and it felt like 6 Banshees.

I think you have to promote 3 classes. Or same class 3 times. 60 levels.

This is going to be a problem.  The Bioware announcement used the word "character," when classes are what you promote.  There are going to be a lot of unhappy people who actually deployed all of the characters in a given class, promoted that class, then thought they met the requirement.

It's Bioware's game, they should know the terminology they need to use in order to communicate to players what needs to be done.  They chose the incorrect word, and it is going to screw some people.  Not everyone reads the forums to see the clarification posts by users - people who aren't the game devs 

It actually happened twice in the same announcement - using the words "squad goal" plus "promote characters" = lots of speculation from everyone!!

Yesterday (Saturday) Promoted, Vanguard, Soldier & Adept, nearly got them back up to 20 again, was a bit hesitant at first, but hey its all good
