I, user hvnspwn, only got a Victory pack, and no commendation, after promoting 3 characters. :S

I promoted all three of mine on Saturday. Got the Victory Pack. Still no commendation pack.
And now it's saying that the servers are down. And they went down apparently right after I finished a quick multiplayer game, so now I don't get those credits.

yea i promoted them in the main menu,would this really have been an issue?

Not relevant, all you needed to do was promote. Chris said the Victory packs were out, but the Commendation packs would take longer. I received my Victory pack last night before going to bed but haven't been able to check for a Commendation pack due to the server issue.

I'm startin to think that is the problem, because I promoted from the main menu and didn't get my Comm pack yet either.

I promoted 3 form the lobby, but no commendation pack yet. I'm sure we all get them. I participated in all the ops so far and always got them, sooner or later. Once I got my comm pack on Friday evening. HAVE FAITH AND PATIENCE.

Alrighty, I have my pack - got an Eagle. Great, now out of four packs I have the Crusader I, Hurricane II, and Eagle I. I want my Valiant! :-(

Participated in 3 events including this one, all objectives fullfilled. Didn't receive commendation pack even once. I doubt I'll get it this time either. Victory packs are a different story, but those are just stuffed with equipment mostly.
And why do banshees still appear with other enemies?

I promoted my characters in the Multiplayer menu, and I got the Commedation pack.  It's just taking a while for them to all roll out.  It does every week.

So apparently I promoted my characters too soon, since I got the victory pack, but not the commendation pack.

Bioware should really include the event time when announcing events, since I promoted three classes on Friday, 25th at around 12AM GMT+2, I think, and got no commendation pack.
