BioWare has thrown down the gauntlet, teasing us for failing to kill 3 million banshees. I'll admit, I didn't focus on this past operation as seriously as I did the others, so they really made this failure feel like a personal wake-up slap, albeit incidentally. Well, I'm banshee hunting this weekend, damnit!!!

Stupid question here. I have 3 classes at lvl 20. My sentinel class has all 5 races, so if I promote only that, does it count as 5 characters promoted, or is only 1 (ie. the class)? I feel dumb asking, but I don't want to screw myself out of a pack.
it only counts as one.
Wrong 1 class counts as 5 characters. soilders has 6 if u have battlefield. they do have to be unlcoked tho

Pff. I can promote all my classes, I just
don't want to. Bioware, I've been stuck at N7 rank 240 now, even though
I play quite a bit of silver and gold now. Why? Because I hate getting
all those duplicate character cards and then still having to start from
level 0 when I promote a character. Getting a class back up to 20 is a
bit of a chore too. Also, I don't see the point of promoting. I have an
effectiveness rating of 90-100% because I play quite a bit, so no need
for additional war assets as I can get the 'best possible' ending if I
just cared enough to finish my second replay of ME3. But I'm waiting for
the Extended Cut, hoping against hope it'll be enough of a fix to allow
me to enjoy Single Player again.
But random Banshees running
around sounds like a challenge, and I can make the squad goal by myself
and 50,000 promotions sounds realistic, adding a rare weapon to my
loadout would be cool too so... Wonder if my 'squad' will profit from my
promotions, how that works.
Somewhat reluctantly: count me in.
But please, no more promotion goals? Kthxbye.

Well... seeing as how I've flat out refused to promote any of my characters - no real point in doing so aside from an N7 a few assets for SP (something I don't want) - I wish the community good luck, and pray hope you guys hit the 50K target.

Lets clear things up. To earn a Com Pack, You will need to Promote Three classes, IE Adept/Soilder/Engenier. Each class is ONE Piont, you need Three Pionts/Chars promoted.
/End Thread

That's partially correct. If you promote 3 soldiers for instance a human, a krogan and a batarian you are ok. Also if you promote 3 adepts, no matter the race, you are ok. If you promote a salarian infiltrator, a quarian engineer and a human soldier you are fine too.
I asked Priestley for this and the things are as i said above.
sorry, but when you promote a class it promotes all 5 variations(6 for soldiers if u have the bf3 soldier) of that class (or as many/few as u have unlocked.) there is no way to promote individual variations within the class and keep the others at 20, it is all or none.clopy22 wrote...
