According to the portuguese video-game magazine BGamer, Tricia Helfer (EDI), Lance Henriksen (Admiral Hackett) e Raphael Sbarge (Kaidan Alenko) confirmed to returned BioWare studios to record new dialogues and scene for the Extended Cut.

"Just did another session on the Bioware studio", said Lance Henriksen. "They told me that there was a problem with the way the game ends, so we recorded some more dialogues to be added to the end game, so fans can enjoy the quality the franchise had so far."

They also suggest the DLC is, therefore, nearly completed, and should be getting in the final stage.

I can't believe I understood some of that article.

That language is similiar to French. Notice I said similiar. Not the same. Just similiar.

And what's the deal with Hale and Meer?

There's quite a difference between new dialogue and voiced cinematics. Hale or Meer are the player figure after all and if they didn't record new lines, there's nothing to indicate something beyond cinematics.

Hale and Meer won't be returning. We're to assume that Shepard is dead.

So voiced cinematics it is. There's nothing to get excited over, since that only confirms the original statements.

Well, source for them returning would be the better question.

They are still under contract, are they not?

Well, I don't know. But, if every voiceburp makes for a big entry and lots of excitement on these boards, wouldn't you say it's rather odd there's nothing about Hale and Meer recording something?

All because my femshep walked into a exploding tube thingy that she was shooting for some reason.  Don't shoot it from a safe distance, oh no, that would make sense.....

:?<_<:huh::blink::mellow:

Sure, she took a breath at the end but I'm afraid you're right in that Shep is presumed dead in all 3 endings.

Sadly my expectation for EC are so low I traded in my ME1 and 2 as I have no desire to replay them now.  I still have ME3, just to see what EC brings and if by some miracle (and sadly I think it'll take just that) EC makes the SP game playable again I still got a bunch of Sheps waiting to be xfered.

Plenty of major VAs have said nothing. It's silly to assume anything one way or the other.

Not necessarily.

Since when it is a requirement in any work of fiction that the hero has to survive? Whether or not an ending is good or bad is not linked in any way to whether or not the hero survives it.

Meer mentioned returning for DLC in a post ME3 interview. Although he didn't specify EC (don't think it had been unveiled yet...) they will probably end up calling him and Hale in.

Thats bull if Shepard is dead no matter what you do. They show him/her breath only to have him die?

Most works of fiction generally don't come with promises of wildly divergent endings and a numerical points system promising better outcomes for higher numbers either. And yes, there are many works of fiction in which I would consider the ending significantly worse or better if the fate of the main character was changed.

Not everyone tweets about every little aspect of their lives...and maybe some VAs are keeping quiet under instruction to give players a few surprises with the EC DLC? Just a thought.
