On the PC, how do I promote just a single character and not the entire class?

When you select the "Promote" button on the character selection screen, it prompts you if you want to promote your entire class - not a single character.

I did this once and all my Adepts reset to Lvl 1, including the Asari Justicar I wanted to save.

Seems like this is straight forward on the XBOX and PS3, but not on the PC? Am I totally blind?

Okay. I guess I am an idiot.

Promoting does the entire class regardless of platform. Thought it was possible to promote just a single character. Oh well.
