Just like it says, sometimes when firing the Falcon, the firing animation plays, my ammunition gets depleted, but no projectile leaves the gun. This happens more when firing fast, but it's unpredictable. I've heard that hosting solves this problem but I haven't seen it work for me. Is there any chance to get this fixed?

I think it's the nature of UDP. The packet of data that had the shot in it didn't reach the host/other players. The only way for it to be fixed would be if error checking was put in place to assure that all data reaches all players, but I think the trade off would be latency being introduced.

I doubt this will get fixed, sadly enough. The only solution seems to be to fire a bit slower, giving a seconds pause between each shot fired.

I've read a lot of speculation and explanations of the cause and the slower firing solution. I just didn't see it in the technical support page and was hoping Bioware might actually see this and at least say it's a known issue.
Having played enough shooters with projectile weapons (as opposed to instant-hit weapons), I would think that a 4-player game should be able to match the performance of a 64-player game. It's not like grenade launchers are a new phenomenon in the multiplayer world. Really, though, I just want Bioware to acknowledge the issue.

This is not just a problem with the falcon. I have this happen with the black widow as well, which is also a really old problem, has been happening to people since launch.

It works Flawlessly for me when hosting badly when the connection is not good. Does your connection have high or medium lag as it appears to be lag related. I have seen this with other weapons also. If a connections is laggy some weapons are useable. It is not just the explosive weapons although they are the worst, I can be using my Widow and have a completely solid shot on a stationary target and it does not hit. It seems to happen a lot when the host is not in North America.
