Yes i searched and tried several things, save game 'editing/checking' console commands etc. (runscript zz_isa_debug)
However i'm missing something, in my last playthrough even though Isabela came back with the relic at the end of act 2, had sex, did the '3 x investigate' why she wouldn't want a 'relationship' etc.

But in act 3 i didn't get the questioning believes quest, nor did she 'love' me at the end (dialogue at the templers).
Suddenly Varric starts talking about Fenris.. having issues...?! (friendly concern) while i never even showed intrest in fenris. Did sleep with Merril and told her it was a 1 time flick or something.

Also in the party banter several different remarks are made, Player + Isabela, Player + Merril, Player + Anders and Player + Fenris.. this either makes me a **** or somethings off?

The weirdest thing was that in the end Varric told the seeker that i was away with Anders.. (didn't move in and didn't use any of the flirt options) i mean wtf?!

In DAO you atleast KNEW someone was intrested/in love (Leliana/Morrigan mostly) and you could say 'let's go to bed'. Now it's all guessing people suddenly showing up at your doorstep... 

Isn't there an easy way to check who is the actual LI? I've tried several console commands but nothing seems to give the exact answer. (Making some save games for future use DA3 .) I know there are some issues with romances/flags etc. Also with importing save games (solved most of them by either editing/console commands/debug luckely ).

Wow....thats messy! Sorry to chuckle at your "save game" misfortune. Hate to say it, but sounds like a bug. I have never experienced that before, but I have heard tell of others that have had similar issues. That is probably the most wonky romance bug, I have ever heard of someone having. Wish I could actually be helpful.....hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I will be insightful. Good luck.

I believe Isabela´s romance is broken off if you sleep with anybody else after her. Doing other companions before you sleep with her is fine, but afterwards you should stay faithful to her. During the conversation after sleeping with her, you should also pick the "what about love?" option or something like that, or the romance won't trigger properly I've heard.
You will get her second Questioning Beliefs when you reach 100% friendship or rivalry.

The mentioning of Fenris and Anders is odd, though, and sounds like a bug indeed if you have never flirted with them.

Is it possible that the romance ended because you "used" Merrill. When my Hawke slept with Isabella and then moved onto Merrill, Izzy threatened to cut off his balls if he hurt Merrill. So breaking off the romance and not sleeping with him again would be a metaphorical castration by Isabella. Just a thought.

Well i managed to screw up things in DAO also, i even got a dialogue with Wynne stating. (When she's worried about me romancing etc).

Me and Alistair

For some reason all 3 are in romance with me now even though i did all those 'choose me/ditch him/her' chats. Yes i'm able to tent Alistair/Leliana and Morrigan is at the 'deny love' stage and i can still kiss her... Even gave me that ring.

And yes i finished a new DA2 PT and ended up with Isabela anyways.. Still weird though (had threesome with Zevran). And it all worked out.
