Hey, I was picking up ME2 again for new character to be import to ME3 and is found a very annoying bug of Paragon/Renegade raising.
So basically I am unable to raise my paragon from what I currently have (around 60 percent or less, I don't really know how to check the total Paragon point I have except for looking at the bar). It simply just there no matter how manay paragon point I managed to gain thoughout the game. In one instant I've played grant loyalty mission and is managed to kill the Treshermaw which would grant me 15 paragon and renegade point after the mission. Then after all the mission summary I go and check the paragon/renegade but it is exactly at the same level as before I played the mission. The same go to the Samara's glitch I managed to raise 2 paragon point for 10 times which should earned me atleast 20 point in total but no changes is made to the bar.
What actually happened? Can somebody please give me the answer?
Thanks
Paragon bug

I did the Samara glitch it took me 25 to 45 mins to keep doing the glitch until I fill it all the way to 75% It wasn't a big deal the rest of the missions give you a good amount of Paragon points.

The glitches help but they break the flow of the game, which is why I prefer to do the one back on Lazarus Station at the start of the game if I'm going to do it at all (plus it works for both paragon and renegade and gives you twice as many points each time as the Samara one). If you've got the time then you can fill both bars before you even go to meet TIM for the first time - ypu'd never need to worry about points again but the downside is it would involve about 400 saves and reloads. Better still to do as Sojourner83 suggests and have the class skill maxed out to give a 100% morality points bonus early on and maybe just use the glitches a little to give you a bit of a cushion if you think you might want to use a lot of neutral non-points responses.
